Can someone explain this poem to me? I don't understand the end?? It's beautiful but I don't get the ending. I couldn't make out what he said after, "The first girl after you..." ...something about her thigh???
This was an outstanding performance, but the camera work was distracting, as if the photographer thought he could add something instead of being a transparent conduit. I saw this piece performed in Denver last month, on a stage in front of a mesmorized audience. That was more powerful than this YouTube video.
My mom told me to watch this the other day and it has inspired me to start poetry I've wanted to be an actor but this seems more emotional I may have FINALLY found my artistic outlet
breaks open the waves of intention… pulls down the crass elements of wordlessness… demands emotion and response… is a fulfillment of destitute echoes… THIS… is poetry. Indeed.
Omni-this has to be the best thing you have ever written. Incredible. I am so blown away. I actually cried. Thank you for sharing this. You are an inspiration.
