Turn arcade requests off. To do that go to network battles, r1(to go to edit status,) and then go to arcade requests. Then put off. Thats how you do it.
just press LT or RB while also moving ur left stick that corresponds to ur character's ultra combo. ex. M. Bison's ultra combo. u hold LT then do the left stick movement

Simply use your best character until you get to Seth, then relax and let him kill you, the continue and choose the character you want to finish arcade with. After beating Seth, it will count it as you finished arcade with him.

Nope, not possible if I don't ever play the game. I just hate it, whether I win or lose is not a case of whether I'd like the game or not, how it plays is. Dude, how many fighting games have you played? Street fighter 4 has probably the most simple control scheme and inputs of almost any fighter out there. The only games I can think that are simpler is Akatsuki Blitzkampf and Melty Blood. Also, Street Fighter 2 is better in almost every way and Street Fighter 3 was innovative compared to SF4. Alright people, i have found the way to unlock Gouken, first you need Akuma, which is explained in this video, Finish the arcade as Akuma and watch his cinematic ending. In his ending you should see Gouken and Akuma ready for a brawl, after re-do arcade with 1 round games and do the following : make sure you get - 1 perfect, 5 first strike's, have 3 ultra-combo finishes and make sure not to lose any round throughout the entire arcade, after he should apear, beat him and hen voila you have Gouken
You have to unlock everybody you can unlock before Akuma before you unlock him.
If you don't get that, you have to unlock these characters and get 2 perfects with no continues to unlock Akuma: Dan, Fei Long, Cammy, Sakura, Gen, and Rose.
I found the easiest way was to use Dhalsim and repetitively use his strong punch. It covers almost the whole length of the stage, it is quick and powerful. The only character that puts up a fight to that tactic is Abel. And on easy the cpus are to dumb to block his ultra.

One thing I hate with most console games is that you can't transfer savegames to toher consoles and it's already giving me a headache because I have to beat the game hundred times to unlock everything for the SF4 tournament which my forum is organising.
from what I've read/heard, if you want to play on a competitive level then you need an arcade stick. If you just play with friends and just mess around, no you really don't need an arcade stick. The reason for getting an arcade stick is for the extra precision when pulling off moves.
Thanks for the video. I've found the cheapest and easiest way to get through Seth is, like you said, staying at a some what medium rang, but then continuously trip him. Worked well for me and, yes, Seth's a spam prick.
well i used bison. i got two perfects and two ultra finishes. i got rose. i tried again. i did two perfects. i fought akuma and i won. i still did not get him.
you just need 1 perfect do not get ultra any ultra finish or perfect just regular finish.... and u need to unlock dan, sakura, rose, cammey, fei long and gen before that....
All charge moves need to be held for two seconds before the rest of the buttons are pressed. Any punch button works, depending on which one, you'll get different distance. So, heavy punch takes you the furthest.
Ironic, the Psycho Crusher was the main way to get perfects and see Akuma in HD Remix, but it was much better then. Zangief's lariat spam is truly the easiest way to get through arcade mode. Just get to Seth and switch to whoever you need to complete the game with.

You mean you didn't play through with akuma before you unlocked Gouken? Or you didn't unlock Gouken USING akuma. You don't have to use akuma to unlock Gouken, but you DO have to play through arcade mode with him.
I tried it WITHOUT playing through arcade mode with akuma, got 2 perfects, 4 UC finishes, and 5 first attacks with Bison and I got to FIGHT Gouken, but it didn't unlock him on the PS3, and that's a fact. It didn't unlock him until I played through arcade mode with akuma.
Yes you're correct! The first character i unlocked was Sakura playing with Ryu - the second player i unlocked was Gouken and i think that was when i was playing with Chun-Li. I have SF4 on the 360 but the unlocking shouldn't be different compared to the PS3..I may be wrong?

Put on the easiest mode, I did perfect a lot of times. Jump with hard kick, then get down and hard kick... repeat to do the perfect :)

you have to complete the story mode with Abel to unlock Fei Long
Complete Story mode with Chun Li to unlock Gen
Complete story mode with Bison to unlock Rose and complete the story mode with C.Viper to unlock Cammy. Hope this helps

Thanks for the video. I've found the cheapest and easiest way to get through Seth is, like you said, staying at a some what medium rang, but then continuously trip him. Worked well for me and, yes, Seth's a spam prick.

well i used bison. i got two perfects and two ultra finishes. i got rose. i tried again. i did two perfects. i fought akuma and i won. i still did not get him.

use it with akuma 4 ultra combos 5 first kick or punch & 5 perfect with easeist def & 1 round !!!!!!!! trust me i used it !!!

you just need 1 perfect do not get ultra any ultra finish or perfect just regular finish.... and u need to unlock dan, sakura, rose, cammey, fei long and gen before that....

All charge moves need to be held for two seconds before the rest of the buttons are pressed. Any punch button works, depending on which one, you'll get different distance. So, heavy punch takes you the furthest.
Ironic, the Psycho Crusher was the main way to get perfects and see Akuma in HD Remix, but it was much better then. Zangief's lariat spam is truly the easiest way to get through arcade mode. Just get to Seth and switch to whoever you need to complete the game with.

zangief lariet is way better. You can even go on hardest difficulty with one move and beat gouken for the achievement.

try using cammy and her low kick over and over dont give him a chance to breath. after that you get used to his pattern. hang inn there though he's a douche

One more thing to unlock Gouken, you MUST have gone through arcade mode with Akuma.

You mean you didn't play through with akuma before you unlocked Gouken? Or you didn't unlock Gouken USING akuma. You don't have to use akuma to unlock Gouken, but you DO have to play through arcade mode with him.
I tried it WITHOUT playing through arcade mode with akuma, got 2 perfects, 4 UC finishes, and 5 first attacks with Bison and I got to FIGHT Gouken, but it didn't unlock him on the PS3, and that's a fact. It didn't unlock him until I played through arcade mode with akuma.

Yes you're correct! The first character i unlocked was Sakura playing with Ryu - the second player i unlocked was Gouken and i think that was when i was playing with Chun-Li. I have SF4 on the 360 but the unlocking shouldn't be different compared to the PS3..I may be wrong?
