Muslims help ppl every single day. it is a part of our religion to donate money and contribute in possitive actions. For every dollar we make that is not planned to be spent on something specific, we must give what is called khumus for shi'a muslims and zakat for suni muslims. khumus means "5th" so we must give 20% of what we make to the needy. if everyone in the world would do this it will solve poverty. thats just one of the things muslims are required to do.
