This for me was very emotional because it just happened to be on the same night my best friend commited suicide later that night...i myself have tried it before but i realized that it isnt the anwser to your problems you're just running away from them...im going to miss seeing seeing kutner on the tv(he was my favorite) and ill miss alex too

I was literally speechless when I watched the episode. Never in my wildest dreams could I possibly expect what happened. I mean, there were no signs or notes or ANYTHING! I hope House isn't losing his touch. That would really suck. But I hope they tell why Kutner killed himself.

At first I thought it was a copout, but I think it brought up a really good point.

Suicide can be done by anyone. The point of the show was that no one saw it coming.

The thing when the show ended said "if you're hurting, call us. We want you to talk".

He kept it bottled up. And it killed him inside.

For God's sake people, the story is about 2 patients who are both husband and wife. The team and House will try to keep them alive. As the wife gets better, the husband gets worse. That's why the wife was crying. And that's the actual description for this episode. No one will die until the actual end of Season 5.

Not knowing if it's true, but somewhere I read said it's Taub, and he committs suicide right in House's office. And another place I read said it's Forman, but the producers won't come out and say who. And they said it's NOT the likely person (13)..

Perhaps it has something to do with Taub's wife, perhaps she's sick cause we see Taub's obviously upset (hence tears) and I think perhaps the hand holding is Thirteen holding Taub's hand, I dunno it's just a guess...

They've been focusing a lot on Taub in previous episodes, so I think it's likely that this effects him in some way...

I thought that might be it because the shots looked similar, but then it took so long for the locked in syndrome to manifest in the patient. I just thought it'd be bizarre... he never was too hands on with the patient. Anyway, I'm still psyched to see what happens next week.

Again: House didn't! It was a metaphor! He doesn't have the locked-in syndrom, but he fails to open up to the world, as Wilson tells him: "you'll end up alone". He dones'nt want to be happy, "is afraid if the change" (cf "The softer side"). That's all! And I think the big stuff in this episode is just linked with the patient's condition, not one of the characters'. According to Wikipedia, they can't figure out what's wrong with both them.
