Dislike, because as I said earlier, it is very selfish to keep that dog alive and pretend it to be happy just because it is licking somebodys face. That is so wrong. Or can anyone of you tell me how can we know that the dog is happy?? It's eyes? No. It's tail? No. The dog just might be cute. But I think that doesn't make the dog happy to just know that everybody is thinking "u are so cute". You should let go when it is the time to let go, and it clearly was a long time ago.

I felt sorry for the beautiful dog. It couldn't walk anymore and was being wheeled around like a sack of spuds!

He had deep sadness in his eyes, he shouldn't have been subjected to all that.

Although, I agree that pets are an amazing tonic and brings joy and love every day, I feel that poor Baxter should have been shown the same compassion as those terminally ill and a people a lot sooner.

what you have to remember is that the hospice movement was implemented to oppose euthanasia (witch is what putting a dog down is... ) now most people who support hospices dont think that this is quite the same thing but this woman wants to give a dog the most happy time she can possibly provide for him until the natural end of his life. now I think that I would do that for a Loved one dont you?

wow this is amazing. i love the fact that baxter is a chow! one of my old chows lived to be 18 and it makes me cry watching this because baxter reminds me so much of her. iv had 4 chows and they are the greatest dogs. so sweet if raised and trained the right way. its a shame they have such bad reputations. i used to take my chow to nursing homes as well. the patients faces lit up when they saw her and it was such a great feeling.
