hi. how do i change gear oil on this model cr80 honda? is the black plug near the kickstart is the ones where to fill the gear oil for the clutch (left) and the transmission (right) all at ones? i asked coz other bikes usually has 2 oil filling plugs for the left and the right side of the engine. thanks in advance.
You take out the filler cap to let air escape. Then you take out the oil check bolt just below the water pump(its the only one with a little brass washer behind it.) then you take out the oil drain plug on the bottom of the gearbox( its the biggest bolt on the whole underside of the tranny) . When you're finised draining, replace the drain bolt but not the check bolt. Pour in oil in the filler cap until it trickles out the check bolt hole. Then wait until the stream turns drippy.
@Luckystrat13 iv sent you a PM just recently. thankfull for the replies. i have the 2000 model but i dont know if its a standard or an R or RB or maybe expert. all i know that its a big wheel coz its kinda tall and big and that it has 19 inch on front and 16 on back tires. how do i know what exact model i have? ill send you a PM now too for the serial numbers. might be easier.

then replace the check bolt and filler cap and you're done. P.S. I've got a 2001 CR80RB and I do all the maintenance on it myself.
