I haven't watched MTV for years. Yeah, years. And I grew up watching the music videos when it was still MUSIC television. Now it is anything but music. At first I was shaking my head when they finally decided to change the logo. A second later I was wondering why I cared about a music station that doesn't showcase music. I never want MTV to come back. I would rather it evolve from the platform of cable television into the market of the internet.
