need something long lasting and more effective on those drums i noticed the shredded paper ran out pretty quick great for the intro but boring later in i like how you threw the rest of it at the end of the show something like that maybe constantly falling for the ceiling or something would be cool

We were always using paint for stuff. My first time with the line, we some kind of paint thing to refinish our drums that got us all high as hell. Director was pissed the fuck off we didn't open the doors. We did this at the last concert of the year, last act to go on. Rocked the house and at the end when the music was finished, we used our sticks to spell out "The End". I was the E beside my director (amazing percussionist) and I would blink the E like an eye. Best memory ever of my band life.

When I was in high school, my 1st director was old friends with Lalo Davila (wrote this thing). He records snare on songs for Rowloff (don't know if he still does) but he used to test music like this out on our drumline. Lalo came once to check us out, it was a little intimidating at first but we showed out. We didn't use tape on our sticks instead we used some kind of spray paint from Wal-Mart.

heyy i'm planning to do this at my own assembly at carson high nevada. :) this idea is AMAZING but i have a couple questions as to how you guys did this? what did you use to make black light, and how hard was it to get approved by administration;) please reply ! thankyou!!

Well first you have to get a special tape (probably found in a store like party city) that can glow in the black light. Wrap it on your sticks and set up black lights all around you. Keep in mind that the black lights are very expensive and youll need alot of them if you have a big line. To get it approved by the administration youll just have to ask them if you guys can turn off the lights for 15 minutes during your pep rally. Its good for a halloween pep rally ;F.
