IMHO this is a shit review. You do not test cars like that. Put them on a track where the megane would have a chance to overtake. Yes, the focus is fast on the straights and that's obvious because of it's raw power. If the megane had space, it could take over and gain more time until the focus would catch up on the straights. you can see that the focus slows the megane down where the french car could have obviously overtaken the ford like at 2:42 i.e. and 3:18 - :24...

Only one question to everybody:

If the Focus RS is so fucking fast (certainly a fanstastic car) WHY the heck does the Megane RS tape on the Fords´ tail that much???

What kind of shit is that man talking about? The Ford has dissapeared? From where? The Renault constantly sticks on the Ford in the whole video!!!! I can´t see the difference of 55hp... Everyone claiming that it´s faster in this video is blind or a liar. Ridiculous!

in the space of a year the FOCUS RS already looks fucking dated. well done FORD for using the foundations of a 5 year old focus ST. then tarted it up. gave it more power. slapped revo knucle on it to stop torque steer which it don,t. then gave it price tag of 29.995. you FORD boy,s know how to RIP people off.

Seems kinda odd how the Megane RS is on the tail of the FRS throughout the video clip and then suddenly - at the very end of the clip - the FRS somehow breaks away... Looks a bit fabricated to me. Come on Renault, let's see an official Ring time. That should give us a better idea of the Megane's performance.

End bit of the clip tells us the FRS handling is very good, it was not as if there was a straight section of road, it had to corner well to get ahead. The video was in the MRS favour, but the end result going in FRS favour.

the rs will kill it, i own a new cupra r and have test driven the rs, two different leagues, the rs is more fun and raw compared to the laid back cupra r and soon as i have the extra cash i am making the move to the rs
