Stupid Ash cheated, for GROUND type is immune against ELECTRIC. Man I started hating that loser right after he got his 8th badge in the Johto series,lose at 4 pokemon leauges, having most basic types and some gym leaders surrendered to that loser stupid Ash >(

@truearea53 well he kept those guys forever. so they were probably level 100 and the other gym leaders are about 60 or so, remember if you keep your pokemon from evolving they learn better moves and their stats increase higher. i keep my charmander until level 98 then evolve it to charzard by level 100 best tactic

A pokemons stats will grow the same way whether you evolve it as soon as possible or later. The only difference is the moves they learn and how early or late they learn it.

@joeman123964 By "they are better" do you mean evolved or unevolved? I would argue for a better pokemon; staying unevolved can be useful to gain decent moves. Altho i usually evolve pokemon As soon as possible, as this makes them immediately stronger, making leveling up easier.

@beelzzebub well evolved is better of course, if they are the same level. but i am talking about in the long run. iput like power band on charmander or other items to make it level up and earn an extra strength bonus. while it levels it learns better moves. yes charmelion is better but at the end when both charzards fight both being lvl100 the charzard that just got done evolving at lvl100 is better.

@joeman123964 Actually thats not necesarrily true. Yes the power band does encourage strength (increases the amount of EVs you recieve) but u can only recieve a max of 255 EVs per skill anyway (and a total of 510). So you can easily reach the EV's you want REGARDLESS of whether a pokemon is evolved or not. I.e. using ur powerband on the charmeleon would work the same. Plus charmeleon's stronger, implying he has a better chance of beating oponents, so not not having to share EXP and share EVs.

@beelzzebub well charmander can still fight just as well as charmelion since its all about strategy. but i didnt say how u got to lvl 100 or who got there the fastest, i said at the end of the road. but putting on the power band from lvl 5 is much better than when it evolves then putting it on. either way at the end of the road using items and smarts always wins.

Regardless of nature, a pokemons stats will grow the same way, with or without the 10% increase or decrease.

A Haunter evolved at level 100 or level 25 will not effect the stats of the final Gengar, for example.

@Karnezar pokemons stats do not grow the same way if the nature is different. and the stats are not randomized either. if u have two of the same pokemon lvl 100 both will have entirely different stats. some different natures also give advantages like cannot be paralized and stuff like that. but it mainly changes what they get when they level up.

Abilities prevent poison/paralysis. Natures do not. natures decide which stat gets 10% boost and which gets a 10% decrease, or 5 natures decide nothing (increase and decrease the same stat).

Ivs go from 0-31 and thus, combined with EVs, can grant a poke up to 94 additional points in a stat. Add natures and you end up with a VERY significant boost.

I'm saying choosing when a pokemon evolves will not alter its stats growth. For example, a Haunter evolved at level 100 or level 25 will not effect the stats of the final evolved Gengar.
