What you're seeing is the first hit of the tatsumaki, the grounded hit (which you can super cancel, as Alexx does at like 0:24) - it looks like close MK, but there's no target combo going on there.

This deepens my love for Ryu. His 3rd strike iteration is badass. If only Capcom gave him his jodan geri (donkey kick) in SSF4. But either way can't wait for news of SF3:3SOE.

I guess you already know, but he got that kick in Street Fighter X Tekken, which uses the same model for Ryu as SSFIV. They might add it in a future SFIV : O

@KogaHazan Yeah I saw that in the early trailer, but looking at Ryu basic zoning tools how different will it change his game in SSF4 if they gave it to him? Not to mention it would give him yet another way to possible set up both Ultras. He'd be the new GOD Tier (theoretically maybe, but I doubt it). If they gave him the move in AE it would of been nice though apart from Super.

I think it's random but who knows, even the ranking system itself is weird..
