@Roo1920 Actually most of the older girls at some time or other wear their hair like that with the top pulled back. I do too, it's just easier if you like your hair down but not in your face.

It's so sad to hear her say that her due date is March 18th. She gave birth to Josie in early December. I'm so glad she's doing well a year later!

I'm not sure how I feel about this all. I had the same mixed feelings with the "7th heaven" show. These are wonderful, positive, loving people, and still... The nasty little rules like all the girls wearing skirts and doing all the homemaking, 18 kids and still "god" doesn't think it's enough, the weird dating process of Josh and Anna with chaperones and stuff... Not bad things really, just old fashioned and narrow minded. But fascinating enough to keep watching.

I really like Michelle and Jim Bob (and the rest of the Duggars) - but I do feel a little bit sorry for Josh and Anna - their first pregnancy was kind of overshadowed by the fact that Michelle got pregnant again - I think they took away a little bit of the excitment of Anna and Josh's first pregnancy.

@yellowsun44 Yeah, this reminds me a bit of the that one episode of "Little House on the Prarie" Where Laura said she was pregnant, and the mom said she was too, but it turned out she was actually not able to get pregnant again; long story short, the mom overshadowed Laura/ the episode, sort of like Michelle did unintentionally here... still happy for them both though...

so if theyre 9 weeks along now, and Josie is born at 24 weeks, then Josie is born 15 weeks later and Mackynzie is 2 months older than Josie rather than 5 months. is that right?

It is for modesty. it is that they don't want anyone to see their stomach unless a doctor or husband

Because not all women/girls want their stomach being shown on national tv, especially if it's a pregnant belly. They are also modest and don't believe anyone should see their stomach (in any state) other then their husband... and in this case the doctor.
