toctm1995, you have nothing to worry about in regards to the Striper population, they are the most mismanaged fish on the eastern seaboard. As for comm. waste, rec. fisherman account for more harvest than comm. fisherman. Here in NC. we have a short season of 10 per day, usually a three day season with few fisherman targeting them. REC. vessels by the hundreds with 2 per person per day with a season lasting months. Up to 5 or 6 people per vessel.
