I tried this with a number of (different) beer bottles and I kept taking off a good clean chunk of the top of the bottle. Only once did I get only the cap to come off.

yes its a twist off, but you typically dont want to touch the tip of the bottle because thats where the customers lips are gonna go... clearly bapee is talking out his ass

when I used to work at the bar we did the same thing but faster and with more flair to it! the pops where so hard on these bottles that some times the whole top of the botle came of in a single cut! man I miss those days! oh well summer is arong the corner!
