  • Girl: "Blueberry! Up!"

Dachshund: "I am not a smurf!"

  • hes so cute!

  • such a beautiful Doxie!! I have a mini-red named Muffin!!!

  • What a stinker. Beautiful dog!

  • She is gorgeous! What a great color! I have a dapple long haired, but mine is a lighter gray and has some tan markings. Oh! And white paws ^^

But I've never seen a dapple like this, I'm in love with her color!

  • They are stubborn but they are really sweet dogs.

  • Ideal. I mean they need to be trained, of course, especially because they are so stubborn, but if a dachshund isn't stubborn it would be a serous fault in his personality. A trained dachshund needs to make his own decisions while working underground. Haaw, I love those dogs. And that great intelligence and sometimes clown-like character make up for all the hard work you have to put into their training and education. Haaaw.

  • That is an awesome color! I havent see any other color like that. funny personality too!

  • Doxies are notoriously stubborn. What a pretty girl! Mine looks just like Blueberry, but she's red! She's just as feisty and noisy!

  • i like how at 0:27 her ears stay up!

    = ^-^ =

  • Blueberry disliked it

  • SO CUTE WHEN HE BITES THE CAMERA

  • Hahaha! Blueberry is all that is dachshund! I've had an identical conversation with mine before. Very cute!

  • Blueberry is a great name for a little dapple dachshund :D

  • Awe I love the name!! So cute!!

  • all dachshunds are stubborn! But, we love them more for it. I love the name Blueberry, too cute. I have 3 mini doxies. Check out my video "Dog Talking, I want my bed" & you will see stubborn :)

  • She's not stubborn! She just can't figure out what you want her to do. "Stop playing tricks on me!" she's saying.

  • Wow that's a really nice shade of dapple, you're very lucky, that's a great pup you have there.

  • she is so cute.. her face looks almost identical to my mini doxie.. i love these dogs, they're so sweet. mine is like black with some chocolate, :) yours is beautiful though

  • What a gorgeous honeypie!!! Mine are just as stubborn!

  • She's so pretty!!! ^^

  • What a Beautiful Dachshund, I have a red one, I have not seen a blue one like Blueberry in a long time

  • oh a dachshund's bark...loud but like music

  • Ive never seen another all black doxie......so cool my Dusha is in the all black club as well and she is just as stubborn...lol

  • @hardcorekitten if you look closely at the end you can see that blueberry is actually dappled, not all black

  • Very rare to have an all black dachshund. But this is true about trying to tell a doxie what to do.

  • I love my doxie. Her name is Brunhilda. We call her Hildy and the best i could make her do is go potty outside once in a while. She still has "accidents" though and I'm well aware that they're not accidental. she's so cute and I don't think I could live without her.

  • My black and tan doxie, Carly, has me trained me too well. I'm a pushover.....

  • my dachshund is just as stubborn

  • Nothing like a Dachshund! what a characterful breed they are- and the Beethoven is perfect! thank you!

  • Lol! My Doxie girls have ME trained well! Blueberry is beautiful! There is NOTHING like the love of a Doxie.

  • Aw!! he was in a playful mood it seems!

  • Hmmm... I feel like Blueberry might be training YOU :-)

S'ok, all doxie owners learn that eventually :p

  • They'll do anything for food.

  • My dachshund is more stubborn... she won't even come to me when I call her.......

  • She is also unbelievably cute! And so sweet!!

  • lol typical doxie. gotta love them. (i have 2.)

  • Awwww so cute!!

  • lame.

  • Such a goofball :) So cute

  • thats y u always train ur dog when its still a puppy

  • My Schatzie is the same way. She is now 10 years old and as willful as ever if not quite that spry. Always be careful with the sitting pretty and the jumping though. Their backs are not made for that. Schatzie injured her spine with those antics when she was 5 and my husband and I had to built ramps for her to get to the backyard safely. She also sleeps in our bed and I had to get a doggie ladder for her to climb up safely.

  • Too cute!! My doxie just start barking with Blueberry!!

  • shes just not training it right. my trained my weiner dog to sit within 4 days simply by using treats and by letting it know that im in command.

  • Dachshunds are naturally stubborn&one of the hardest breed to train lol i have one myself&he's lazy! So lazy he reminds me of a cat :P

  • Maybe if you treated your dog correctly it would do what you want it to. You don't get a human being to do something by calling it lazy or grabbing it's face and making it do it. Why do you think that would work with a dog?

  • LOL! Love your dogs name!

  • We With "sit" for instance, we taught ours using puppy treats, and what I would do is say sit as i put the treat near his mouth and push back until he sat. Now, 2 weeks later, he sits on command without a treat, before we put the leash on to go out, and when we come in, and just in general he'll sit. You have to learn how to go with the dachshunds "i'll figure it out on my own" attitude. He's even learning sit pretty at the moment, and will be 9 weeks old tomorrow.

  • We have a dachsund we have had since he was 6.5 weeks old. He is already crate trained for the most part, potty trained, leash/collar trained, knows sit, learning sit pretty, and knows "drop it". I'm noticing in your video that while training you've taken a very "playful" approach...doesn't work with dachshunds. You need to keep them focused, and use treats.

  • omg I think it's the breed!! I just got a mini dachshund about 3 days ago and mine is the EXACT same way!!! lol

  • my dog does the SAME thing haha

  • she is sooo cute.... my wiener dog Obama black u could lose him in the dark lol

  • my dachshunds are both really calm and timid.

    they never bark.

but we do have a silky terrier that barks constantly.

  • Making her sit up is realllly bad for her back. check it out on the internet.

  • mine are the same way
