whats ur point of view to explain a good driver? do u think that any1 is comparing a bad f1 driver to an average street car driver? we -F1 Fans- compare F1 drivers to each other. and to define a GOOD DRIVER we combine talent+concentration+agresiveness+technical insight+charisma+motivation. ok he has some talent but its nothing with high risk + low concentration + high agresiveness.
But the sad thing about formula 1 is many of this pilots are good but they cant all race in ferrari or mclaren :P . So they get bad chassis and people think ther bad.

In McLaren there are drive number one and driver number two. For no.1 McLaren does everything and for no.2 nothing but gives the car. McLaren is very great team and history is legendary in F1, but there is no change to win if you`re driver no.2. So i`d go to BMW or Renault.

I would like to have a time machine and put him together with a driver of the same outstanding calibre like Senna . ....I belive that often one or the other wouldn't finish the race........pure natural talented and no fear drivers. For a driver like Montoya ,Alonso has always been like a sort of breakfast. I remember in Canada ,Alonso just sow Montoya arriving and went directly in to the wall.After the stupid Ron Dennis prefered give the victory to Raikkonen at the same way as in SPA.
Maybe Montoya was fast on one lap but during the whole race Alonso was a better driver- Alonso is one of the best F1 drivers! Even the way he warms up tyres is amazing!

Montoya was faster than Alonso and when he arrived Alonso crashed in to the wall.Montoya was first and he surely would have won the race but Dennis made a dirty joke sayng he had problems with Montoya's radio and than during safety car he called Raikkonen first to the box giving him the victory.Only after all this Montoya run the red light.
I was at Copse corner for this race. Montoya's car was the first one I saw on the day, yet the video proves he was behind Alonso all the way through the corner. weird....

that merc V-10 sounds GREAT. I often wonder what the compression ratio is on an F1 motor. My guess would be something like 14.5:1 or maybe 15:1.
