I stopped watching VH1 when they started doing all these "I Love the 70's 80's, 90, 00's" shows, its gone wayyyyyyy down hill from there, it's like VH1 is MTV for the adult crowd and MTV is for preschoolers who want to be slutty. If you want to watch music videos, there are channels worth the money to buy, if you want to rot your brain out, enjoy the crappy programing of Viacom.

I personally like metal whether it be Winger, ACDC, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Megadeth or Judas Priest. I'm really dislike death metal though I don't have a problem listening to an entire black metal song (but then I get tired). I find it great that I can enjoy so many genres. I listen to metal, jazz, blues, rock... And I'd find it hard only liking one or two genres.

BTW, Pantera was a hair band back in the eighties.

I agree with the one person thing. Though you'd be surprised, there are some glam metal bands that are very talented. Queensryche, for example, had a "glam" period. KISS has been labeled as glam metal. Pantera even started as a glam metal band.
