Amazing, powerful word choice. I was. Ullied it affected everything about me. My personality, the person i really am, my humor and my grades but wait i can go on but i wont. For example, last year my average grade for english was 26% and now its 93% what a difference. I can make a difference. Now i stop people from bullying. I learned how. Anyone feel free to email me at lammygotswag@me.com.The girl you just called fat?... She is overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly?... She
Cool. I like Canada. Canada's awesome. Would have been cool to put in some I'm sorry's in even more languages. Or would that have been too Madonna? Anyway.
I think that this movie was great! You really got the message across. An I'm sorry, je suis désolé, es tut mir leid or förlåt will make a person feel so much better! Go you!
This was a great video, I was so caught up, I raised my hand every time you said: "If anyone called you.....", every word you said was true.....Thanks....:)
On Thursaday, my school had a VERY special asembly for a young 13 year old who completed suicide in 2003 because of bullying for 3 years! He just couldn't take it any more! On Thursday, his father, Mr. Halligan, came to my school to speak about bullying and about his son. He also passed a law in Vermont that restricts and makes bullying illegal! Here is the website dedicated to his son, by his loving parnets! Bc of YT i cannot post the site, just google the teens name: Ryan Patrick Halligan.
this actually made me cry. i was bullied in school and although i put on a facade of a much tougher person- inside i died almnost every day. from parental verbal and mental abuse, other kids, and even past boyfriends...it makes you actually believe that what they say is true after awhile...im 32 years old and to this day my self worth is pretty much shit. i have a 7 year old daughter who is amazing and smart, so beautiful and kind- and even in the 1st grade she gets called ugly and it kills me.
@ dedcarnie IM sorry for what u went through, but about your daughter in first grade name calling is little more than harmless child behavior, just make sure you are there for and take care of your daughter let her know she truly is BEAUTIFUL no matter what anyone says i wasnt a victim at school as much as i was one at home im glad to see a mom that cares her daughter is going through somthin and your there to help her instead of telling her she "deserves it and that the kids are right"- my mom
ppl dont realize how bad verbal abuse can be. I am still hurting from the wounds ppl have made by calling me names, from even years ago. thank you for making this video, letting ppl know that they are not alone, and how to deal with it. You seem like a very sweet guy. God bless you.
This was an awesome video! You did such an amazing job and I can't thank you more. I'm definitely inspired but the words you had to say and everything followed with that.
You really touched deep. I'm really interested in film/video making and acting and you really inspired me. Like ... really. Wow. I'm ... wow ................ subscribed!
All I have to say is Jon, that u did an amazing job with this video, it really speaks to me, I have had bad times with bullies and it WAS NOT FUN! I am so glad that u made this video to show the awareness that you show for it, I really hope u make more videos of these kinds I am so glad to be apart of this video....Love ya Jon! GREAT JOB!
Without getting into too much detail, this video is vital for me. Very little is known about how much damage verbal abuse can do to a child. The scars heal but the horrible memories stay with you all the way into adulthood. Great video.
Amazing! I cried all the way to the end. When I was in 8th Grade I had a guy that was verbal to me. So bad he embrassed me in a play we performed in school. I was soo depressed I didn't go to school that next day. The rudeness countined till high school. About a year ago I saw this person in a store and he actually treated me like a human being. It felt good that he saw me as a person. About a few months after that, I found out he died. I prayed hard for his family and still do.
So glad to be apart of this! I missed A LOT of school in 9th grade because of bullying. Any awareness to this subject is lovely imo :) so I'm really glad you made this video!
I hope you make more videos like this! Keep up the good work!
This is great, Jon, honestly. I was also bullied in school, not daily, but enough that it scared me so bad that I took days off and whatnot. Now I only get a few hateful messages via YouTube, but it doesn't bother me anymore. Good job, hon. This is an issue that needs to be addressed more often.
