@mythfits how funny is it that i randomly run into one of your videos on a youtube search... since i am here i have to say, i wish i could take your class again!! I was recently inspired to teach a root chakra yoga class to the rhythms of john de kadt's music and forgot how entirely balancing drumming is! i live in the ann arbor area now and just started looking for drum circles out here, hope i find one! your message and lessons live and carry. thank you, namaste
Thanks so much for this! Would be a good warmup before you even touch the drums. Just don't let your bandmates see if you if you're in a death metal band =)
cool : )

I keep "coming in too soon" when I sing with a band, didn't know before that there was an exercise (or cure?) for this, THANKS.

You're very welcome. It's never too late to find our groove!

This looks enormously helpful! Thank you from someone trying to get the rhythm under her skin. :)
p.s. Isn't it impressive how much volume you can get out of an iPhone?

I don't have an iPhone, but I have noticed that. Glad to hear that this was useful to you.

@mythfits
Dude, this is a great exercise for rhythm. My timing and sense of rhythm in general is much better, and it's apparent in my music. Thanks!!
