I honestly believe they used alien plans to build this. Watch the video of Canada admits USA is manufacturing alien technology. It's a spokesman from Canada stating how visitors of other planets came some decades ago and offered help but the USA took it as a threat and shot first and asked questions later. The USA have the technology according to the video and is said to be manufacturing it and using masking devices

How much does a perfect lasing mirror cost? Can you coat the whole missile with one? Can you afford it?
What if your mirror reflects 10µm really well, but its not so good for 200nm? What if the anti-counter-measure is a really complicated tunable laser? Just frequency hop until you get a burn through.

@Defconfx I think so, it should be able to attack ground targets given that it can hit a target at 20 km if I'm not mistaken. Problem is that with this propaganda the Chinese know what we've got but we don't know what they have!

@Defconfx lasers are not practical as offensive weapons. e=mc^2. you get more energy transfer out of kinetic projectiles. the benefit of lasers is completely automated near-100% accuracy
if anything these will replace, or more likely augment, CIWS

@wolfy9005 I really hope that US is still too powerful from the military point of view. What I am concerned with is that China is holding a lot of debts and financial obligations of the US economy. If US wants to keep staying in front it has to put its finances in order and get rid of the surmounting debt (owned by the Chinese)
