  • I Loved how you said: "Get them guys!" ^^

  • where did u get those frut flys

  • @TheFunkymonkey4u most pet shops have them.

  • Are those wingless fruit flies? If not can you breed wingless?

  • soo coool!

  • well i have a shit load of red eye fruit flies all over in my room flying around just every were i tried using the sweeper to suck them all up it didn't work 2 times i bet i drunk alot of them my self o i have a ? how could i find were they are laying their eggs at in my room now i do have alot of plants in my room and i have 11 wild deer mice and i keep the cage clean and i have seen a other kind of a small fly in my plant dirt but it wasn't a fruit fly it was longer and black or gray &

  • @lil27mike27big you need to find the source! I once had an outbreak of flies(normal flies). Turns out they were breeding in the wet bedding of a cage I was no longer using. Check everywhere, they have a breeding ground somewhere, you need to find it and destroy it.

  • @earthling1984) well i have been looking allover in my room and can't find any eggs there was some eggs stuck on in my trash can i cleaned it out now and) but they all are still swarmed every were the flies are its still not as bad as last week i looked over at the wall from my computer desk and it was covered with fruit flies thats when i said i have to put a end to this,it was to many + what if some one else seen them.

  • @lil27mike27big I hope you found it man. They can be sneaky. I agree, what if someone else sees them. Luckily the outbrake I had of flies, was in my garage, so it didn't really matter. But damn it was a pain. You just have to look, they can grow on almost anything that is organic or like a living thing. Like any food crumbs or garbage that you might just not see. I hope you found the main nest though and they should start going away, just make sure there is nowhere else for them to breed.

  • @earthling1984 right now i only have a few left becus i did find out were they where they was all in my king-juicer a thing that makes juice and it was good to when i made it last month

  • @earthling1984 Can a Rankins Dragons live off of only those flies? How about a frog?

  • @leopardgeckos11 no, only when young.

  • @leopardgeckos11 you would need more for a frog i have had frogs before and they all died from when i put a wolf-spider in there cage i thought they would eat the spider & they did eat it but when they did the spider bite the frogs and killed all 4 of them and it looked sick after what the spider did so don't ever put any spiders in your frogs cage like i did and i had mine for 3 to 4 years not anymore i only have "wild deer mice" now i had them for 5 years now i will be letting some go

  • How/what do you feed the fruit flies in the cup?

  • why urs dont fly like mine ?

  • @abliz8480 they are flightless fruit flies.

  • Hey dont you ever get vermin problems like an infestation of red ants all over one of your cages where some leftover food may be left or flies or bugs that bother your pets? Do you use some kind of disinfectant? if so what is it? How often do you clean out your rats, birds, lizard cages?

  • @rishiknightwolf I never get any insect problems. They key is to keep all food stored(I keep food in the bags but then also in a large tuperware/tub with lid. Also, flies and other insects breed in moist spots of beeding and food and even poop. So make sure to clean out the cages very well and not leave any wet bedding behind.

  • Do you breed, or know of a US breeder of pure breed rankins?

  • @Norrad01 I got mine from LLLreptile.

  • @earthling1984 Thanks, I'll keep my peepers peeled. My wife loves the looks of them!

  • wow what knds of lizards are those and where can i get one

  • loll yea i figured...I just got back from a long vacation and these beasts are having a party over here

  • mine are flying!

  • @persianqu33n You must have not got 'flightless' fruit flies... there are many types of fruit flies.

  • wow, i really want those dragons now. they will definetely clean up my kitchen counter, its full of fruit flies.

  • @yosheeut88 lol, clean up your kitchen.

  • Ack! You have sooooo many tanks! I wish you were my neighbor so i could live vicariously through you! I want a couple of beardies pretty badly. Right now i only have a few anoles but one hates crickets so im forced to buy flies or catch moths! its hetting cold here so flies it is! Thank you much for the video! i think im going to try a 2 liter botttle and some plastic canvas.

  • Sweeeeeeeeet!

  • Hey earthling I watch slot of your vids and do you think you can help me make a hamster help video? If you can't please reply

  • "they're coming out crazy outa that hole" lol that's prob what octamom's doctor said wile she was in laybor. nice vid tho

  • thats disgusting

  • I love the lizards they are so cute!!

  • i bet those lizards like there life

  • @23LEGOman

Yeah cause they have dA most caring owner

  • hey is there anyway that we can make the media? like what exactly is it?

  • @itunes530 yes, there are 'recipes' online. Homemade media is much more likely to mold though.

  • hey you ever thought about breeding b. dubias roaches they are very easy to take care of they give live birth and you can double them in usually a month

  • Yes, I have thought of it, and plan to do it in the future, so far I have only bred crickets/mealworms, fruit flies.

  • I like how your answering everyone's questions and communicating with your fan base. Sweet looking little dragons. They are Rankin's, does that mean that they are going to stay a bit smaller than the average bearded dragon species?

  • yes, they only get to about 1 foot long, much smaller than normal bearded dragons.

  • Awesome..... I like the way your dragons came after the live food.....ITS FEEDIN TIME!!!!!

  • i have a baby bearded dragon myself. after he gets bigger im going to put him in a bigger tank and possibly put a lepord gecko in his old tank

  • cool. Leopard geckos are also great pets, and they are super easy to care for!

  • ya. i like the colors but im not sure if i want a crested gecko, a lepord gecko, or a day gecko

  • They are all cool. Day geckos you will see more. Crested geckos like to hide in plants, you will hardly see him/her. They are usually super calm, all my can be handled very easily, so you can see them when you take them out. Leopard geckos are about the same. They hide usually all day just sleeping in a cave. Giant day geckos are nice because they are awake more during the day, and mine at least, is always out on the glass and easy to see. So... depends if you want to see it all the time

  • i saw ur video of your day gecko. it also had some awsome colors. i saw the same exact one in my local pet store

  • that wud suck if u dropped the fruit fly container

  • lol yes it would

  • i subbed btw. i love ur bearded dragons =]

  • Thanks :) They are really great lizards. In general they are quite calm / very easy to handle. And they get to a nice size, yet not crazy large.

  • Would that work with hedgehogs? the feeding part?

  • maybe. I haven't tried it yet. Fruit flies are probably a too small for hedgehogs. They may go after them, but I don't even want to try it because I'm sure half the fruitflies would just end up in their bedding or on the ground. Best way to feed fruitflies to hedgehogs would probably be to put them in a empty cage(that fruitflies can't escape from, like a 10gal tank with a line of tape on top - insects can't climb on tape. Then put the hedgehog and some flies in there.

  • LOL I would so afriad to open the container and have them all trying to climb out :P

  • So cute how the rankins dragon are so small glad they are well

  • wow... i knew rankins were smaller, but i didn't think they were that small...even for babies...haha... but that is really cool 5stars

  • So, why am I itching my ears and scalp as if I'm crawling with fruit flies?

    LOL!

    Nice feed!

  • very cool idea!

  • why dont they fly away?? =/

  • They have wings, however, they are flightless. They can't fly.

  • @earthling1984

that doesnt make sense then, why would they have wings but be flightless =\

  • Some animals/insects have wings, but still can't fly. Just how it is ;p

  • if people dont want to loose any when they open the container do it over a rubber made bin

  • yes, or over the cage you are feeding in.
