Where i do agree with what you mean on the point of a quieter voice from the actor playing batman, i still would rather Micheal Keaton over both of them. But at the same time i still think the dark knight as a whole was far greater a film than joel schumacher could ever have created, and i feel he was on the brink of destroying the batman franchise with the films he made.

I do enjoy this soundtrack...but it's just WAY too easy to think of this as dramatic techno. If you listen to Zimmer's work for, say, the Lion King, there's a level of complexity he's just not going for here. I keep getting the feeling he wasn't really challenging himself creatively. But as I said, I do enjoy the soundtrack, and Zimmer's work in general.
