Lord, Thank you for precious Mamie Sutterfield who prayed for me when I was using and dealing drugs. Mamie would try to witness to me and said she was adopting me as a grandson. I don't know if I would have gotten saved had it not been for this precious woman's prayers. I've been drug free for over 30 years now thanks to her prayers. If you have a loved one on drugs keep praying and interceding for them, pray God send the right harvesters into your family members

Today we decided along with the dr to stop the chemo because the cancer is so advanced. We know God is watching over us and will help us through this very difficult time. Thank all those somebody's who are praying for us.

My Mama prayed for me everyday of my life and I can still feel it though she has gone to Heaven. So I pray for my daughter today who is in pain and crying due to the ongoing cruelty of my sister. I'm praying for my sister too, for God to remove the meanness and cruelty from her heart and refill it with love and peace at age 65.

I just got back from a Women's Retreat at True Adventure Sports. We went on an extreme nighttime hike, over and under rocks and boulders and caving. When we reached what is called the "Throne Room", we worshiped God in total darkness. It was such a beautiful experience. This song will always remind me of that.

As a parent, I can also say your Dad would want you to be a strong girl (woman), to succeed in life. Bring back that part of you that died with him and do something special in his memory to share with someone. In this way, you can do something, like write a poem in his memory and read it to the elderly at a nursing home, for example.

When my grandma was dying of cancer, well she didnt have much exposure to music in the nursing home. I wanted her to know I was praying for her, whether for her to live or to make the journey to Heaven. I took my player and played this song for her. I've always loved this song and got to hear Ricky sing it in person recently here in Nashville when I was among some Gold Star Mothers that were special guests at an inaugural ball. We lost our son, Josh, (CPT Joshua Byers) on July 23, 2003, (my birthday) and he was a West Point grad and had listened to this song a lot when he was a Plebe at West Point and loved it. He loved the Lord and his country.

Ricky at his absolute best....may God bless him and may God bless you hoover for putting this wonderful video up. I did this song at my church and just like it was for Ricky it was hard for me to get through this song because it just spoke to me so much about the love that Jesus has for me and that His love is so perfect and so powerful that it causes many people to bow down in other areas of the world and pray for God's Will for our lives.

I lost my best friend (my Dad) on November 19, 2009. Part of me died Dad when I lost you. I feel so empty without you. I know that someday I will see you in heaven again. God please keep him safe and happy until I can touch that sweet face again. I love you Dad and miss you so much.

To Dadsgirl0423 - I just saw your post and my heart ached knowing you lost your Dad Nov 29 2008. I can understand your empty feeling. As a parent, I can also say your Dad would want you to be a strong girl (woman), to succeed in life. Bring back that part of you that died with him and do something special in his memory to share with someone. In this way, you can do something, like write a poem in his memory and read it to the elderly at a nursing home, for example.

When my grandma was dying of cancer, well she didnt have much exposure to music in the nursing home. I wanted her to know I was praying for her, whether for her to live or to make the journey to Heaven. I took my player and played this song for her. Its been 12 yrs, but I miss her dearly and I will meet her on that beautiful shore, but grandma I was down on my knees for you-praying

I've always loved this song and got to hear Ricky sing it in person recently here in Nashville when I was among some Gold Star Mothers that were special guests at an inaugural ball. We lost our son, Josh, (CPT Joshua Byers) on July 23, 2003, (my birthday) and he was a West Point grad and had listened to this song a lot when he was a Plebe at West Point and loved it. He loved the Lord and his country.

My close friend, John Elliott, wrote this song and is playing the piano behind Ricky. It is also George W. Bush's favorite song and Ricky and John have performed it for him at the White House. It is also one of George Bush senior's favorite songs! Both men who deeply appreciate being prayed for! One of the best songs ever written! I love you John, it is an honor to be your friend!
