  • @masterofpuppets986 IT'S RAININ SIDEWAYS

  • This is new to me. Do you need a certiain program on your computer to use a green screen

  • @BluegrassBoys6 Yes, you need a program that contains a chroma keyer such as final cut pro, adobe after effects, sony vegas or any other one, or if you have a lot of money to pend then you should use in adobe after effects or something red giant's program: Key correct for 400$!!, the reason for using something like that is for better results, but using a built-in croma keyer from an editing soft-ware with all the tips said in the video will give you nice results.

  • no back light?

  • Excellent video. I'm just experimenting with green screen effects. This has helped answer my questions with regards to the lighting, even when not using a greenscreen.

  • Thanks for the tutorial. This helped a ton.

  • Why do these tutorials never tell us the intensity of the different lights and Tungston or Florescent.

  • @RATHAHONNI if its to bright just use distance and pull back ,and make sure to use light fillers paper or gell

  • Very insightful tutorial, and u actually showed examples of what u were talking about,THANK YOU!

  • i didnt get step three...

  • yeah it looks pretty hot up there in canada.

  • Nice tutorial, now I have to buy a ChromaKey Green Screen and try it for my videos, insted of changing the background everytime!

  • how do you put in the backgrounds?? i don't know how to! Sell the effect can you do it with Visions lab studio?

  • Thank you for this video, really helpful, come to see a little example on our channel!!

  • this is like expertvillage but here the experts are really experts :)

  • Video maker ? how many videos do you have for green screen tutorial ?!?!?!? XD

  • @obesecat1

HD versions of all our tips are available on our website. Cheers.

  • @videomaker bahaha!

  • thank you for the great, greaaaaaat tips.

  • Great video! The only thing is, shouldn't the key and fill light switch spots? I always thought the key was to the right of the camera and the fill was on the left.

  • @EsperPictures

There are no technical reasons for placing the Key on the left or right, it all depends on the needs of the content or aesthetic preference. If your background footage has the primary light source coming from the left, you'll want to match that with your studio setup. Cheers.

  • What software are you using for the effects?

  • does the quality of the camcorder effect the croma key

  • @rhyskallen it does to a certain extent. i shot on a blue screen with a low grade camera but I didn't light it properly and the screen came out kinda blocky, but still worked. if you light the screen correctly, the only thing the camera will mess up is if the actor moves too fast and is motions are blurred with the screen color

  • what kind of green screen paper is that it looks really smooth

  • thankz man awas locking for this tutorila that help me alot thankx man

  • Don't forget a back light!

  • Can you use omni or tota lights with an umbrella.. i will have to give it a try cuz thats the only lights i have

  • wat kind of lights are those? plz reply. thanks :)

  • For this particular video we used:

    Photoflex Starlight (Softbox)

    Hollywood Soft Lights

A great resource to help you find the right light for your situation is our most recent Lighting Buyer's Guide (link listed in the description to this video). Hope it helps!

  • @videomaker that light kid is expensive why dont you go with the totas?

  • Always great videos! Thanks for explaining so easily and so well.

  • Thank you!

  • nice posting - why not hq ? or hd ? attention to detail :)

  • All of our video segments are available in HD at our website. The link for this clip's HD version is posted in the description (top right). Cheers.

  • Why does it cost money to download this video in HD on your website? It's ridiculous. You should make it $0.99 if anything.

  • wtf these lights cost over 3500 dollars

  • Nice one.. very useful. Thanks

  • yeah i think im gonna go to the hollywood light shop right next to my house and buy 12414 lights so i cant light up this greenscreen perfectly...

  • hardout! haha can they redo this with home light bulbs please, those hollywood lights probably cost 10 times more the the actual green screen they're using! lol but yeah great vid =)

  • The music is so terrible.

  • Great video, however I'm just s poor student and cannot afford those hollywood key lights :(

  • TELL ME ABOUT IT

  • Thanks. Well done.
