Super-Screw is profitable method to make a provisory splice on a steel cord belt. It helps to save some 10 tausend USD and to bridge on an old belt as long as the new belt is not available.

@RICOSAOCO As the title says, its an emergency splice. To do a hot vulcanise will take at least 12+hours if you have the highest skilled splicers. That belt is 1,800mm in width. A snapped belt cant be repaired. An almost snapped steelcord belt... there is no method on earth that can save it without carrying out another splice. There may not be even enough slack on the counter weight to resplice a hot joint. Thus, this is still the best, fastest and life/money saving way to splice.
