  • John Marshall shares in the blame for the destruction of the sovereignty of the several states even before the war against southern seccesion, & by proxy the freedoms & responsibilities of the body politic.

    Like most black-robed tyrants that have donned the robe of freedom's death Marshall was a committed federalist. McCulloch was a terrible decision - Old Hickory was correct in his view as usual regarding the subject matter before the court, but (as today) the court was already corrupt.
