I had the exact thing happen to me.  After I was divorced, i went back to the same small town to visit my dad, and met up with my ex. of course, my new wife was just an aisle away. It was like time stood still for a second. Then I remembered what a backstabbing bitch and cheating whore she was, and why i divorced her. But it was nice to see that my new wife, outdid her by 100%. Nice to see that she saw it too!!!
