Well now i know were Ninja Scroll ripped off their final battle scene *homage* and i think i saw Senryo Kyoshiro from Samurai Showdown in this movie as well. Basically Samurai Showdown was based in most characters of this movie.

This movie has several versions: The original japanese cut, an american version missing some 10 min and a really awful DVD from passion productions.

Whatever you do, don't buy the passion productions DVD cos is just crap

This movie was not crap! If you watch the Japanese version with subtitles, it contains a whole crap load of scenes that were cut from the bad america dubbed version.

First off, learn to speak, secondly, you didn't see the real movie, you saw the English bastardization of the original Japanese movie. It's like saying Vivaldi's Four Season's was crap when all you get to hear were the parts some one else deemed good or necessary to the composition as a whole.
