To everyone complaining about the chatter... while I agree it would be nice if the audience is quiet you cant expect them to put their evening on hold because a musician shows up. Call me strange but I think you as a musician are there for the audience and not the other way around. Im sure you dont clam up every time you walk by a busker, right? Are you being disrespectful? If the audience isn't paying attention.. thems the breaks.

All power to you Alex,Lush Life is not the easiest song to sing and the lyric needs careful interpretation,a lyric of life and unrequited love.So why are the audience ignoring your effort.It must have been distracting.Best of luck if you have embarked on a singing career.FAS had difficulty with this song.My favourite interpretation Johnny Hartman with `Trane(or should that be the other way round)
