When Patrice was saying San Francisco asians are different from east-coast asians, what he was actually witnessing is just the difference between those that were raised in Asian culture and those in American. Asians on the east-coast can be the social types he was describing, it really just depends as to whether you grew up in Asia or North America. In other words, if its an Asian without an accent, much less likely he/she has those anti-social cultural tendencies.
