okay Ive been using the cam with 16 GB memory stick duo. It cause problem by not playing the video or the pics I made. I read some where that 1,2 or 4 works best. Did you ever get this problem? plz reply

I use a 4GB memory card so I haven't experienced any of these problems before.

@delshizzy You would have to export the separate videos to your memory card and then use a video editing software on your computer to combine them together.

Well I really don't mess around with video editing software; but you should start off with simple software like Window's Movie Maker. You should search around here to see whats a good software though, and your welcome.

What do you mean wha format does the psp slim have to be? And to he comment below, try cleaning the two prongs and re-adjusting the camera a little bit. I don't think that the firmware version really matters.

i got it from play Asia and when i plug my camera in 2000 metallic blue psp it says connect a camera that is compatible with the psp system to the usb connector and it's plugged in and screw in please help me it was sixty five dollars help please

You should just clean your usb connector from the PSP, it's probable just a little dirty that's all.

Here is how the directory should be X:/PSP/GAME (X being the drive of your PSP) then just drag the folder in there

It all matters in the language setting you have set on your PSP. If it in English then the menu will be displayed in English. So the answer is yes lol it is in English

Well either one is okay because both of them don't include an English UMD. You would have to download the English software to your memory stick (link in video description).

do you need the software to just use the camera to shoot videos and take pics and then offload to your PC then edit the videos in something like movie maker? I want to use this to shoot widescreen videos to utilize youtube's new widescreen player

No you don't need the software to operate the camera, you can just use it from the PSP's main menu (XMB). Then you can transfer them and edit them on your computer. The biggest size to shoot video's is 480x272 (the size of the PSP screen) which might work out with youtube's new wide screen player.

thats awesome, all i need is a big card for my psp and it might replace my current camera but how does it work with windows movie maker doe WMM compress the screen to 4:3 or does it sense the imported video's aspect ratio and adjust to fit? if so Coondog TV is going HD lol

Yeah you would at least need a 4 gig card, recording is a memory hog! It records videos in AVI or if not AVI, MJPEG format. Well there is an option in the window's movie maker (Window's Vista Version) to have the video exported at widescreen DVD quality (16:9), or the regular 4:3 size in many different options.

ill get a 16 gig card or a 32 gig when they come out b/c my digital cam shoots in MJPEG format AVI with pcm audio and it eats up memory fast but i got a 8 gig SD card and i can record almost 3 hours of video on it so i might get 6 hours out of the psp camera, and does the windows XP version of movie maker support widescreen exporting of videos? id hate to have them get compressed to 4:3. i only ask b/c the vista movie maker has had problems like vista always does lol

I'm not really sure about that, I'm currently stuck on Vista lol, but I think there might be an option to export the video in widescreen.

files after u record with the cam so that way u can put them on the computer right ( oh and when u plug ur camera in the psp is evrything in english or japaneese like Forward button and stop and record and all that ????? ) and can u pause ?

lol it makes the videos in AVI video format, it's not really possible to just record sound unless there is some CFW app, the camera menu is in english and I don't think you can pause.

Well you can only record 15 seconds if you DO have the Go Edit software, but when using the camera from the PSP's menu you can record as long as you have enough memory.

You can get either one. The only thing that WON'T be in english is the edit software. But in my description you can download the english software. So again, either one is fine.
