Two when Jason told Courtney he loved Sam he quickly said he loved Sam! the first time they broke up he fought to get Sam back and chased after her. He didn't do that with Liz,Courtney, or Robin. (I actually liked him with robin). When Liz, Sam, and Jason had a scene during Jasam time Jason never really acknowledged her existence.

No, he meant it. He was not in love with Liz. And I don't think he's in love with her now. Jason told Sam, "I've never loved anyone as much as I love you. And I always will." This was in 2006! A little over a year ago!
True he told Sam he's loved her the most, but he did lie to Courtney, or at least changed his mind because in summer 2002 he started to tell Liz he loved her and changed it half way through the word presumably because it was so early in their relationship and they hadn't admitted any feelings at that point (granted she was still jerking him around back then) he chased her a lot back then.
Actually, judging by his actions, at one point Jason loved Liz more than he had ever loved any other woman, but she tarnished that love by choosing Lucky, then Zander over him which he never truly forgave her for. Jason had been willing to change the course of his life for Liz. However, every time she failed to choose him dissipated his love for her.

Although I don't agree that Jason was "better" with Courtney, I totally agree with everything else you said. Jason needs someone who can live in his world and accept his life. Everyone but Sam and Carly has tried to change him. That's why Journey and Liason never worked. Jake won't change that now.
These are some of the funniest posts I think I have ever read.
First of all, Courtney is dead. Second, even if Jason didn't love Liz then (which I believe he did and he only didn't say so to appease insecure PIA Courtney), he DEFINITELY does now. Finally, I believe the writers are only righting their wrong - they should have never split Jason and Liz up all those years ago.
Jason and Liz had been my favourite Jason pairing... I am extremely disappointed that their relationship has never peaked properly. Their lovestory had been one of the more meticulously developed, sentimental and truly poignant ones in daytime. However, the Jason-Liz recent reunion seems quite forced, unnatural and without substance, making it very difficult to root for them. Considering their history, the writers could have done a much better job with these two.
The things that annoy me most about Liz are her self-pity, woe is me attitude and constant whining (oh that voice). She used to be a spunky, fiery and even defiant young lady... her character had so many more layers. Now she's just blah and it's difficult to see what Jason would want with her. Even so, the writers did not utilize their history well to lead them back to each other.
With their carefully crafted history and the great chemistry they had in the past, they had all the makings of a Supercouple... but now they are uninteresting and difficult to watch. Indeed the writers and producers share a great deal of the blame for this letdown, but how do actors who had such wonderful chemistry just lose it?
Why is everyone saying he never loved liz. Just a few months ago, he admitted it to her and he's said it a couple times after too. My goodness. You have eyes, but you do not see the chemistry. These two actors have always been convincing with their chemistry and now FINALLY, they may have a chance together. Just get Jason's hair back to the way it was when he was in jail, HOT!

Sam has taken bullets for Jason, she shot Diego while on the run w/Jason cuz she was framed to get at Jason, she fled the country to help protect Michael, she held a gun on the heads of the 5 families, cont'd
she helped find Michael, Kristina and Morgan when Faith kidnapped them, she was a target of Manny Ruiz because she was w/Jason, she confronted the danger and stood BY HIS SIDE anyway, while the lizbitch is content to hide their so called love. The writers are trying too hard to make liarson a couple again! They need to cut their losses and find Jason someone who will give him 100%, and no, not Sam. I think she deserves better than Jason. He threw her away and he shouldn't get her back!
Though during the early phase of their 'relationship' i.e 1999-2002 Jason and Liz obviously had chemistry, since then, especially recently that chemistry has been indiscernible... I haven't perceived it in any of their '07 scenes. If one ignores the early Jason-Liz era, Sam was the only partner that had any sort of chemistry with Jason. However, the Jason-Liz love-story had so much potential...the writers had laid a solid foundation but of late have tarnished it with really sloppy writing.

Did you ever see Jason and Robin together? Cause that was definitely the most chemistry Jason has had with anyone; it was unmistakable when they were together, so if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend that you do.

The hurt of being relegated to 2nd fiddle a few times, having his emotions toyed with numerous times (though unintentionally so), subsequently being dumped (even though they never had a legitimate relationship) then watching Liz develop feeling for Ric, a man he loathes was the backdrop when Jason was asked that question. So of course it would have been rather unnatural for him to categorize what he had felt for her at any point as love...although the sigh and the hesitation speaks volumes.
Courtney's the reason why Jason is the way he is right now..She taught him how to love and he did the same for her. Jason was totally different person before he fell in love with Courtney... They made each other a better person while together...

For Courtney to even ask that question after she tried and tried to get Jason and Liz back together because she saw that they really did love each other, she was just asking Jason to lie to her.

No, he meant it. He was not in love with Liz. And I don't think he's in love with her now. Jason told Sam, "I've never loved anyone as much as I love you. And I always will." This was in 2006! A little over a year ago!

True he told Sam he's loved her the most, but he did lie to Courtney, or at least changed his mind because in summer 2002 he started to tell Liz he loved her and changed it half way through the word presumably because it was so early in their relationship and they hadn't admitted any feelings at that point (granted she was still jerking him around back then) he chased her a lot back then.

Actually, judging by his actions, at one point Jason loved Liz more than he had ever loved any other woman, but she tarnished that love by choosing Lucky, then Zander over him which he never truly forgave her for. Jason had been willing to change the course of his life for Liz. However, every time she failed to choose him dissipated his love for her.

The fact is that Elizabeth is needy and annoying and the only reason that this storyliine is going on is because Elizabeth couldn't be there for her husban!!! Although I don't agree that Jason was "better" with Courtney, I totally agree with everything else you said. Jason needs someone who can live in his world and accept his life. Everyone but Sam and Carly has tried to change him. That's why Journey and Liason never worked. Jake won't change that now.

These are some of the funniest posts I think I have ever read.
First of all, Courtney is dead. Second, even if Jason didn't love Liz then (which I believe he did and he only didn't say so to appease insecure PIA Courtney), he DEFINITELY does now. Finally, I believe the writers are only righting their wrong - they should have never split Jason and Liz up all those years ago.

Jason and Liz had been my favourite Jason pairing... I am extremely disappointed that their relationship has never peaked properly. Their lovestory had been one of the more meticulously developed, sentimental and truly poignant ones in daytime. However, the Jason-Liz recent reunion seems quite forced, unnatural and without substance, making it very difficult to root for them. Considering their history, the writers could have done a much better job with these two.

The things that annoy me most about Liz are her self-pity, woe is me attitude and constant whining (oh that voice). She used to be a spunky, fiery and even defiant young lady... her character had so many more layers. Now she's just blah and it's difficult to see what Jason would want with her. Even so, the writers did not utilize their history well to lead them back to each other.

Why is everyone saying he never loved liz. Just a few months ago, he admitted it to her and he's said it a couple times after too. My goodness. You have eyes, but you do not see the chemistry. These two actors have always been convincing with their chemistry and now FINALLY, they may have a chance together. Just get Jason's hair back to the way it was when he was in jail, HOT!

No, I don't see the chemistry. I think Ric & Liz had more chemistry than Jason & Liz. Yes, I'm a JaSam fan, BUT even before Sam came along I never felt like Jason & Liz made a good couple. They're good as friends, but I just don't see the sexual chemistry with them. I didn't see it with Robin or Courtney either. I think Carly (the original one) and Sam have been the only ones who've had great sexual chemistry with Jason.

Sarah Brown and Kelly Monaco were always sssmokin' hot with Steve Burton. And they also played the lighthearted and the serious stuff really well. And face it. Jason is in the mob.l He needs someone who is willing and ready to walk on the wrong side of the law if needed. Only Carly and Sam have EVER been WILLLING to do so for Jason (and Sonny)lizard will never fit into his world right. And Liason is just not working for me. No matter how much "history" they have.

Though during the early phase of their 'relationship' i.e 1999-2002 Jason and Liz obviously had chemistry, since then, especially recently that chemistry has been indiscernible... I haven't perceived it in any of their '07 scenes. If one ignores the early Jason-Liz era, Sam was the only partner that had any sort of chemistry with Jason. However, the Jason-Liz love-story had so much potential...the writers had laid a solid foundation but of late have tarnished it with really sloppy writing.

The hurt of being relegated to 2nd fiddle a few times, having his emotions toyed with numerous times (though unintentionally so), subsequently being dumped (even though they never had a legitimate relationship) then watching Liz develop feeling for Ric, a man he loathes was the backdrop when Jason was asked that question. So of course it would have been rather unnatural for him to categorize what he had felt for her at any point as love...although the sigh and the hesitation speaks volumes.

He could not of denied his Feelings for Robin, everyone and their dog knew he was in love with Robin, they were together for years and lived together for a long time. Liz moved into his penthouse for like 2 days and they were never a couple, they were trying to reconnect. I never denied that he love Court, but heloved Liz it was all over their scenes together.
