I was a member in this band at the time. Lets just say we rocked the house when we took our DC trip and I can assure you we always do our best as performers and this band will continue.
Definitely too fast...if only for this group. But, director should have researched the background of song and known this is too fast for this piece. Totally out of style. Not a "Sousa" march. Hurts to listen to having performed and prepared this piece.
