if god exists hes like the builder of a house. it builds it to fit certain perimeter such as life, physics,it builds it to have substance and different purposes, chemistry,. in other wards space and time.. This is all god see's the entire house, the universe. it would only interact with the universe if something was fundamentally wrong with it, shingles root/gravity stops working. a builder wouldn't come to deal with an atom of dust on a lamp in termoil. which would be our Entire planet.

The trinity has pagan routes, worshiping more than one God. So doesn't the holidays easter and christmas. Do some research. Besides the fact the trinity is never once mentioned in the Bible. You cannot take one part of the Bible and Judge it for one verse, you have to read the whole Bible as a whole, which I doubt either of you have done.

Taking 2 months off and then dropping the baby off at daycare is cruel. The average IQ test are about the same for male and females. Intelligence and violent crimes should also play a factor. I would rather have the title of a cold athiest then a lukewarm human.

You are right. It does not make any sense. Who is going to heaven, whatever heaven is or may be? Jesus used the example of the Samaritan. The Samaritan - a group of people who the Jews HATED - saved a Jews life while the previous 'religious' Jews avoided him. It is not just love your neighbor (which pretty much every single belief system can lay some sort of claim to) but love your enemy.
Jesus is leading us. Without God and his love and guidance where bring Hell to earth. Think Nietsche, Mao, Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot, Hitler, Kim Jung Il. I do not have insurance. I have a progressive nerve disease and I go to the Veterans hospital for free medical. I am 40% disabled veteran. My wife and child are on a medicaid program. Wife had a golf ball size brain tumor at 18 and they failed to remove it all and did radiation. She is part deaf with a facial palsy and a ton of other complications, we monitor the tumor yearly. she goes to school full time at SIU, I work nights and weekends and watch baby during the day when she is at school.
OneMark- A private insurance company would be mad to accept my family on a plan. Taxpayers surely have spent $300000 on us in the last 6 years. I am 24 my wife is 23, my baby is 8 months. I live in a crappy apartment, and I own a 2007 ford focus and a 1992 car. The stress my family has about medical bills is insane. Comments like yours only help make us feel like a very low class humans. Please walk in my shoes before you stereotype people without insurance as LAZY people who buy sports cars.

Someone should be born into this world knowing that knowledge is a universal right(schools, libraries etc) and healthcare is a universal right for all. Public option, require all citizens to have insurance (20-35 year olds tend not to have insurance), allowing insurance companies to easily cross state lines, all these ideas are steps forward to drive down cost. The current system is horrible.
Onemark- I see the welfare/foodstamp system and it drives me crazy as well. I saw all these people at the grocery store at the first of the month getting junk food, no fruits or vegatables. I would love to see a ban on all processed food for "link cards". Make them buy vegatables helps cut down on obesity, and supports famers. So if I get you correctly, God decided to become a man one day, and call himself Jesus, when other humans would accuse him of being God, God would LIE and say no I am just Gods son(multiple times in the bible Jesus denied being God).
Jesus did not die the worst death possible, Thousands of others died the same way Jesus did by the hands of the Romans.

@NeonGrapes2000 God never became son of man. He conceived in Mary and gave to us Jesus. Jesus, the Son of God, sacrificed himself to pay for our sins. The trinity has pagan routes, worshiping more than one God. So doesn't the holidays easter and christmas. Do some research. Besides the fact the trinity is never once mentioned in the Bible. You cannot take one part of the Bible and Judge it for one verse, you have to read the whole Bible as a whole, which I doubt either of you have done.

Did you know that in ancient rome they would take prisoners and place them inside massive hollow brass boars, then light campfires underneath the statue? Now imagine what its like to be slowly cooked alive inside a brass statue... then think about simply waiting to die.. hunger pains hurt, but not like being seared across your entire body

@jivimome - Music and Catholicism is a fascinating subject, Mozart did an outstanding job. Roman Catholicism used to castrated boys in choirs as well for high pitched voices. Number one reason why woman have been second class citizens throughout history is because of having babies and of course men are stronger :-P. Kinda hard to invent, to be a Ruler or study with children. Try having some. Very powerful women tend to forfeit motherhood.

@jivimome Its not the size, its how you use it. This will be a circle debate, because this debate is still going on in the science community. Having children is a full time job. Taking 2 months off and then dropping the baby off at daycare is cruel. The average IQ test are about the same for male and females. Intelligence and violent crimes should also play a factor. If men are wiser and more intelligent as you claim, why are they so violent in comparision to females?

SamuelCyrus - My defination of being a Christian is to strive to be perfect(Matthew 5:48), to live like Jesus did. I have yet to meet one Christian like this, like the red text. I will live by many of Jesus philosophys, love my enemy, do not murder, all things are possible, FAST, ETC. However I will never claim the title Christian. I would rather have the title of a cold athiest then a lukewarm human.

In God's case, He gave us freedom of choice, freedom of will and the tools to 'perform miracles far beyond mine' as Jesus said as He moved closer to His crucifiction. The dinosaurs were not so blessed in his image. Thus, if you want to kill others or perhaps even worse, watch them die without doing anything about it then that is a choice. Our God hopes you will turn off the TV and find a cure for a disease or fight to protect your and others freedom. But again, your choice. Vaya con Dios!

You are right. It does not make any sense. Who is going to heaven, whatever heaven is or may be? Jesus used the example of the Samaritan. The Samaritan - a group of people who the Jews HATED - saved a Jews life while the previous 'religious' Jews avoided him. It is not just love your neighbor (which pretty much every single belief system can lay some sort of claim to) but love your enemy.

You are not BEING tortured, you are torturing yourself I think. Moby Dick is a GREAT book and in some cases may have helped lead people like you and me to 'His' Universal Truths. You are not being sent to Hell because you do not believe in the 'right book.' It is just very difficult to receive 'His' gift of eternal life with our One God without benefiting from His message to us. You might also benefit from studying it with someone who knows and loves it. Like oil painting or guitar playing

For example, Judas tried to have him killed, Peter denied him after trying to kill one of the 'policemen' (just doing his job) and then denied Him, Paul was killing his followers as fast as he could and virtually all of them (except for the women in his life) sunk into doubt, despair and ignored His promises after his crucifixion / burial. so you would choose to loose the health care plans for our older citizens, to pay for mainly non tax payers. your ideas are in the house for votes right now and will kill many of our elderly because of lack of funding. our system is broke in both meanings of the word. i pay for my health care instead of driving a new car, why can't the illegals do the same? the average illegal costs the u.s. 30'000 a year! it would be cheaper to pay them to stay there. and who pays your bills?

madicap- since you know the bible so well don't forget you must also obey the law of the land. and jesus never stated man must be poor. he referred to those who did not take care of the neighbor when in need, not in want! you want, thats a major sin, because you expect your neighbor to care for you when you an able body person. how much do you make and how much do give to the church. mine exceeds10%. in fact its most likely 20%. i don't have a house payment or car payment, because i budget.

first matthew 19:21 was to one person who jesus knew he loved his valuables more than his fellow man. he used as an example of greed, before love. 5:48 is teaching of love for your neighbor, including your enemy. acts 5 was not giving which was commanded. i did not start a debate of religion it was medicap trying to defend her excuse for not working, i did not want a debate about religion but work and keeping healthcare for the elderly instead, medicap started reaching into other areas.

Matthew 19 was only one of dozens of examples of Jesus view on belongings and money not once can I find Jesus say being rich or having frivolous items is holy.
Matthew 5, says christians should be perfect, but do you really believe Jesus was limiting perfection only to loving neighbors?
What Peter did in Acts is a perfect example of a type of communism, Not exactly Marx but close.

I do not have insurance. I have a progressive nerve disease and I go to the Veterans hospital for free medical. I am 40% disabled veteran. My wife and child are on a medicaid program. Wife had a golf ball size brain tumor at 18 and they failed to remove it all and did radiation. She is part deaf with a facial palsy and a ton of other complications, we monitor the tumor yearly. she goes to school full time at SIU, I work nights and weekends and watch baby during the day when she is at school.

OneMark- A private insurance company would be mad to accept my family on a plan. Taxpayers surely have spent $300000 on us in the last 6 years. I am 24 my wife is 23, my baby is 8 months. I live in a crappy apartment, and I own a 2007 ford focus and a 1992 car. The stress my family has about medical bills is insane. Comments like yours only help make us feel like a very low class humans. Please walk in my shoes before you stereotype people without insurance as LAZY people who buy sports cars.

fear- my comments was not nor would ever be aimed at anyone putting an effort in trying to get ahead. i grew up next to a welfare house. the best meat my parents could afford was hamburger. while 300 pound women feed their 400 pound boyfriends steak. one day my friend had to look for pop cans to cash in to buy himself a banana for lunch, yes his mother was very fat along with every women that lived in that complex. now you can see why the welfare state pisses me off so much,

fear- i have come very close a few times, in being in your position. i believe this uninsurable, is a pile of crap also preexisting condition. the insurance companies need competion. the public option was the only chance for us have a fair policy. and once again they got to congress, the only part of the bill i could get behind and they shot it down. you go to work and put food on your families table, you can hold your head up high.

fear- you fit into what i call the 10%. and as you are a veteran, i believe the healthcare should be top notch. i do believe that a veteran should have better care than people that didn't serve, that includes me as well. you have the 90% who has no medical reason taking from the 10% which needs various forms of needs. madicap was one for example, i could tell by the comments. i have seen to much abuse in the system, thats why i hate congress involvement. the 10% such as yourself will lose more.

Someone should be born into this world knowing that knowledge is a universal right(schools, libraries etc) and healthcare is a universal right for all. Public option, require all citizens to have insurance (20-35 year olds tend not to have insurance), allowing insurance companies to easily cross state lines, all these ideas are steps forward to drive down cost. The current system is horrible.

Onemark- I see the welfare/foodstamp system and it drives me crazy as well. I saw all these people at the grocery store at the first of the month getting junk food, no fruits or vegatables. I would love to see a ban on all processed food for "link cards". Make them buy vegatables helps cut down on obesity, and supports famers. Welfare is scary because you dont want the kids to be homeless, and if you take away that small check will the crime rate rise? welfare scares me.
