i am going to apologize first before i say this. i don't want to offend anyone. why would people protest the demolishing of this home? of course you know the size and the cost to fix this home right? and then add the upkeep? and taxes? besides normal household bills? what does it cost to heat? with the amount of expenses why not sell it to a salvage company and return a profit instead?
This is such a beautiful building with amazing detail that you don't see on or in homes or public buildings anymore. It would be a real shame to see this demolished. Great video!
Did you have to get permission to enter this house?.......or did you just decide it was okay to trespass because it was abandoned? Someone must still own this property. I'm just curious as to how your allowed to enter these buildings unless permission was given. just curious....thats all.
omg, where do u find these places! Amazing that your able to go and find places like that! I wish I can go to abandoned places like that! :) Doesn't it make you wonder what ever happened there or why did they abanoned that place.
Another WONDERFUL video! This place is in unbelievably great condition! I sure as hell hope they decide not tear it down just to put up shops...that's just crazy!
Again you capture the soul of a place for us! You know how you can enter a place and it feels dead, it feels abandoned? That chateau still feels like there is life in it to me. Like it doesn't know the people are gone. That was the impression I got looking at it. I think black and white really brought it out. Color would have muted the feeling of the place, Thank you for sharing! ---Mara
It indeed felt also that way to me beeing inside.
The front door of the chateau was just open, it welcomed us to see what beauty it still has to offer.(when leaving we locked the front door and got out somewere else, just to prevent it from getting trashed)
That is amazing how they'd leave that house abandoned and not try to sell it. Its also strange how they left certain things behind, especially the photographs. It's as if the family cleaned it out and only took the items of monetary value.
awsome video this place still abandon like to see it up close myself.

Bravo!! Beautiful architecture details. Hauntingly beautiful film of a sadly bygone age in this rapidly-spinning world. Thankyou so much.

@orteca I am glad that you locked the door. I would hate to see vandals getting in there!

@kat399 The family might not have cleaned it out. If it was family I would think they would be the first to go....
