  • that urgent tip i did not now. thanks :)

  • dude you talk really fast ;) nice video

  • Nice

  • You actually love an actual word called actually...

  • @monfard0 it should be in system preferences under desktop or dock

  • Your voice reminds me of Jon4Lakers

  • really?

  • for mac lion: Here is the best way to secure/ hide files:

Step1: Applications, Utilities, Disk Utility. click new image, create any name, choose location to save to, select size depending on how much room you need, set encryption to 128 or 256, select partition hard disk, create.Enter a password. Step2: command-shift-4 on home screen drag cursor for screen shot, open preview of screen shot, click select and choose instant alpha, highlight image completely, delete, command a, command c, get info

  • on your disk image file which is on desktop once you open it, click the file icon, command v, change the name to "space bar" once, now your file is invisible at top right, find it, move it over a identifiable spot depending on your background image, copy paste your stuff into it, delete original, eject when finished and it will disappear and then re appear in the same spot when opened again. no body will find it let alone break the encryption. thumbs up so people can see!

  • youre actually talking to us like were fucking dumbasses! your actually starting to actually piss me off!!!

  • Go Techtechmantv awwwww yeah

  • Techtechmantv rules the world

  • Actually, this is actually an annoying video. It's actually, informative but actually the guy actually repeats the same word actually over and over actually.

  • actually, the quicktime feature is actually not actually new actually :)

  • lol no one likes twitter

  • hi there, just wondering how you managed to get a tranclucent menu bar in lion? its easy on snow leopard but i cant figure out how to do it on lion

  • @monfard0 It's exactly the same way as in SL. System Preferences, Desktop & Screensaver, then at the bottom under Random is Translucent Menubar, just check the box.

  • thanks

  • Virgins 2:50 "So guys, the tenth and final new hidden feature in Mac OS 10.7 Lion is actually called Virgins."

  • thanks Actually

  • thanks for the awesome video!

  • I like videos when they're simple and straight to the point! Thanks!

  • The level of "actually" is too damn high!

  • Actually is now a bad word

  • Please stop saying "actually". It makes me dizzy.

  • 2:30 The whole page with lovestruck and dizzy on in Photo booth uses facial recognition

  • Wow actually? You can actually do this in OSX 10.7 Lion? Actually I knew that you could do this stuff in Lion but I actually didn't know that other people actually knew how to actually do it as well!

  • @galex50 Actually its actually called a hackintosh, so if you actually want to actually run Mac OS X on your PC, you can actually install it by actually using a bootloader or something. Actually.

  • actually

  • Spik

  • @shortugeu Lucky

  • Gah! So exited to get my macbook air!

  • "actually""actually""actually""actually" STOP SAYING THAT.

  • @The1canman1 Slight correction....I think you want him to stop saying "Akchy"..... =p

  • i knew them all

  • ALREADY KNEW ALL OF THESE

  • Yeah, nice script you try hard lol

  • He talks like if he was in a commercial lol

  • Be careful about deleting an app from the Launchpad because that really does delete the app off your hard drive, it doesn't just remove it from Launchpad.

  • One more useful feature is that it can, with right configuration run on your PC.

  • Helpful stuff, but none of these are "hidden" features. They are the featuresof these apps!!! Written in product pages and all, and shown.

A hidden feature is something that is... hidden.

  • lol sounds like you said virgins 2:50

  • Thanks for the great tips! The one for mission control and launchpad is especially helpful :)

  • cool! actually :)

  • good video.I don't have a mac but it's a helpful video for those that have!

  • Actually

  • how do you get your dock on one side of the bottom side? :O

  • thanks!! this helped me!!

  • thanks, jolly useful

  • This could get this guy noticed. The "ACTUALLY DUDE" on YouTube LOL. BTW, those who are making mean-spirited comments are "ACTUALLY" pompous, smug, arrogant, ignorant morons. Be nice, or be quiet. The guy is trying to help and getting ridiculed for it. Judge not, or you shall be judged! Besides, I "ACTUALLY" learned a few things from this video, and I thank you TTMan. Don't listen to those who lack brain cells, there are some of us who appreciate the tips.

  • actually i think my ears actually just bled. actually.

  • Comment removed

  • ACTUA FUCKING LY

  • actually?

  • WOW, can I “actually go ahead” and do all these things in Lion...actually?

  • your voice is the most annoying in the world

  • how were u using screenflow 2 in lion..???strange...was that a beta version??

  • Trimming videos was already possible with SL...

  • actually

  • @commets LOL

  • good effort, !!

  • Most of these are not secret. These are some of the ones that Apple highlighted.

  • stop saying actually! and speak normally you SDGFISAGKLFG, it's pissing me off ACTUALLY

  • thx

  • this guy raises his voice at the end of sentences. it is awkward.

  • @superunboxings2 quit spaming

  • I dont have a mac but if i did, this would help

  • thanks man :)

  • Trimming in Quicktime X was introduced in Snow Leopard. It was demonstrated at WWDC 2009.

  • @jbleutooth That's right...

  • these r not hidden features, some of them are actually some of the main ones!

  • do u have a cold???

  • thank you

  • You said "actually" 26 times. So about every 8 seconds... It's annoying.

  • Well I don't have lion so what I am supposed to do?

  • Did you greet us with: "Hey what's up fags"?

  • You said actually way too much

  • None of them are really hidden!

  • Trim isn't new? Im pretty sure

  • mac osx lion suckz coz it can't run many softs nd games..lolz

  • @nrockpsp um... your a hater.. that relies on old information.. times have changed my friend.. you can run anything on mac.. even windows via bootcamp ;)

  • That's pretty crazy

  • whennnn are we gonna be able to install exe files natively without wine or emulators?? T^T

  • @izlude2 As soon as Mac OS X becomes Windows. (Which will be never, dude.)

  • @552Industries Linux has emulators that do not required Windows. On Youtube, their are Hackintosh notebooks that run severaol op sys ... trying to do this on my HP PAVILION now.

  • @izlude2 I can easily do this in Ubuntu 11.10, seamlessly, for some programs.

WINE is intalled. Palemoon (Mozilla Firefox optimized for Windows x686 CPU) runs perfectly. Some utilities run well: Netmeter.exe

Try it ... both OS X, Android, Meego & Linux are based on Unix.

  • @flyboyovyick08 Haha ZEBRA haha i was going to thump you up but i can't

  • I knew ALL of this already, and I got my mac for 2 months ago ...

  • you know that the trim feature was already introduced in snow leopard?! -.-

  • Great tips. I want to own a mac in the future (when I can afford it). Also I new about the enlarged windows button because I am used to windows and it was in pretty much the same place. And I am a newbie. :)

  • He says "actually" too much :P

  • 9 of these are new to me :) Great vid

  • You would think people would understand all Apple updates are named after cats... so next is OS X Jaguar.

  • Mac totally rapes windows any day of the week, i forgot how to use those things they call windows

  • @worldsnumber11 Agreed. That is why nearly all the hardware & software writers, and the general public are rushing to buy Windows. Myself ... I prefer Linux (Ubuntu derivatives: SuperOS)

  • im waiting for superbowl XLVI

  • When will OS X elephant coming?

  • @thewiitry after OS X Jiraffe

  • All of these things were explained in the OS X Lion trailer. -.-

  • Minecraft... that's the most important part!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • fucking hell your voice is annoying

  • Where is your Dashboard ???

  • I actually couldn't believe that you could actually do that! Did you actually finds these features with your actual skill? You're actually pretty awsome dude ! :D

  • dude, Great video!

  • Key word in the video : "actually"

  • Comment removed

  • Nice Job - It's nice when you can learn several things in a short amount of time, or at least find out very quickly if you want to watch any further. Makes me want to check out your other videos.

  • Great information. I just wish he spoke a little slower. Other than that, very well done. Thank you for giving us all this great tutorial.

  • Too bad it's not compatible with some important software. :(

  • Omg, it looks awesome!

  • Good video, thanks for the tips, don't listen to the trolls :)

  • The Trim Option (QuickTime Player) Was In Snow Leopard You Know!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey, does the versions thing take up lots of space... Because its basically saving older copies of each document... so multiple copies... does it take lots of extra space?

  • Did anyone count how many times he used the word "Actually"? Please listen to your own video recordings before ACTUALLY uploading them to youtube.

  • Poor

    Trim was in SL too

  • Browse all virgins... ???

  • those dont look like hidden features........ they are simple and i figured it out the first time i launched the app or mc or lp. and u missed many hidden features!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for the video but are you taking a train???

  • Thanks, that was helpful.

  • Cut that "actually", please, so annoying!

  • A little question... why the heck in 2011... finnaly OS X has full screen apps???

Windows had this since the 1.0 version!

Seriously do you have (meaning Apple) to advertise this in top 100 "new" features???

  • @ZeuzIncorporated because the full screen apps are fully intergrated into the OS and are able to be scrolled through and organized. It had full screen apps before but they were a pain in the ass to use even more in mac than windows.

  • Actually .... None of those are hidden.

  • You sound very Canadian

  • I ACTUALLY can't believe it!

  • actually you say actually in actually a very amount of times you do actually

  • I saw that minecraft app show us your world!!

  • Cool, I have my 72 virgins right now

  • pretty legit. cehck out phonecats =3 >^..^<

  • NONE of what he showed is "Hidden". Average user can actually SEE the Full screen option. QT X has had the trim feature since SL and it's not hidden. Click the Share icon. Hidden means you have to HUNT for it or go to lengths not published, like adding buttons to most app toolbars. Most everything shown here is ENABLED meaning no hunting required. The ONE exception is the delete from Launchpad.

  • you talk to us like were freakin retarded.

  • Count how many times he says actually

  • hey that trim in quicktime has been there since snow leopard

  • This this guy not read the features on the Apple.com website?

  • its not hidden

  • The average Mac user will most likely know about these features.

  • Hey! How did you set your dock at the bottom with the same square style it has when we set it to the left or to the right???

  • Actually, these are not hidden features, actually...

  • could you do real hidden features. your video was nice but most of these aren't hidden they're pretty easy to figure out. neat vid though.

  • More features even the computer guru won't even use, especially the computer illiterates!

  • Trim in QuickTime has been there since Snow Leopard.

  • did u c there was full screen mode on google chrome... only there is no way of getting out of it

  • @applemantech cmd F :)

  • Actually actually actually...

    Heh just kidding. Nice vid.

  • people on youtube should be posting better quility, cool and useful vids like this one. 5/5 from me :)

  • Cool i have got Lion and it rocks tnx for the secrets

  • How do you do the thing at 0:52 without a multitouch trackpad?

  • do u have a plug on ur nose? lol jks

  • i knew all of these

  • there are no average mac users who buy lion and follow you on youtube.. plus half of these features are front page on the apple homepage and not really hidden

  • ANAL

  • Actually counter: 2648x

  • Actually.

  • Great video! And cool features

  • ical looks ugly

  • Trim was already there before

  • FUCKING ADAM, CREDIT ME!

  • You said the word "Actually" 18 times. That's once every 11 seconds in the 3:26 your video last. YOU NEED HELP

  • @TechTechManTV it was in snow leopard

  • so........Mac OS X apps became full screen in 2011 ?

  • I used the trim option in Snow Leopard all the time. It isn't a new feature. All of the other things were NOT hidden features, they were ALL announced at WWDC. Nothing new from this video, although I did find some actual hidden features from using it.

  • Are you sure these are hidden features?

  • @bertocaster The average user doesn't know of these features, they're not very easy to find.

  • @TechTechManTV New features doesn't mean hidden features... Apart from a couple they are pretty much visible.

  • none of these are hidden features.... all were announced.

  • @TechTechManTV i have a problem

when i wanna open ical or mail it says "mail canot be opened because of a problem"

wat should i do? i already tried to update my software, but i still have the same prob
