  • some raw some cooked, some foods are indigestible raw and cooking is a sort of pre-digestion your body works harder to digest raw food. cooking allowed early man to consume much more meat than was possible raw and is said to have been a big factor in evolution. anyway avoid fanatic diets ,dont obsess over yourself ,eat good food ,everyone knows what junk food is(pastry mcy d's. if you feel bad water fast

  • The answer is insects

  • This man is deceived. Subjective claims are empty. As we all know, being a raw foodist does not mean being healthy. Most are food phobic, scared of eating correct amounts of fruit, eating too much fat, too little greens etc... It those that he is equating in his stance of a need for animal products.

It would make more sense to claim that we need to cook a part of our food.

No, neither you or your child need to suck on goats tits. It is amazing that people fall for such fallacies.

  • @DrSeptember You see I think you are wrong there sir.. in cooked food, the enzymes are destroyed, forcing our body to expend more energy in the efforts of digestion. The human body has absolutely nothing to gain from eating cooked food, except a feeling a fullness. I firmly believe that if a raw foodist craves some sort of meat, it means that they are craving protein, and therefor not eating enough plant based proteins, such as kale and avocados, as well as nuts and seeds.

I never advocated cooked food, I only said it is more reasonable to consume it rather than animal products.

Fat and protein are more indigestible than any sort of low fat cooked vegan fare. Enzymes are not what makes raw foods healing. There is no such thing as protein cravings, because all foods contain adequate amounts of protein. There is not in all of medical history a single reported case of protein deficiency from lack of protein exposure in the diet.
