With all respect- these questions are good ones to ask. But what does your pastor tell you? I was a xian for a short time and I was told a lot of rubbish. Learn Hebrew :)
The laws of kashrus (Kosher) is something that is possible in this time- simple answer to not eating meat and dairy- become a vegan- the whole world were vegans until the flood Noach's family survived.
There are 2 verses in the Tanakh that made me go back to my Jewish traditions- Deut 24:16 and Ezekiel 18:20.
@GavriellaMichal "Become a vagan" ? That's not what is required. Keeping kosher for Jews is, and just separating meat and milk. For non-Jews the minimum is not to eat from an animals that is alive. Which almost no one does today (their are exceptions though in places like China, I saw video with this done, and that is forbidden and disgusting) .
@TagMahirTzedek I agree some of the videos of live animals being eaten in awful and against what HaShem wants from us. If one chooses to become a vegan, it is still a very Kosher lifestyle. but there is not just 'do not eat milk and meat' there are laws about grains and certain vegetables.... much to learn but learn the basics first :)
@GavriellaMichal I understand, and I am a practicing Observant Jew. And I am aware and follow these laws. BUT my point is that becoming a vegan is not required. Not for Jews and not for non-Jews. In fact come to think of it, at least for Jews, Jews are required to eat meat at certain occasions (like holidays and Shabb-t) obviously Kosher and according to the laws of G-D that Jews should keep.
@GavriellaMichal And non-Jews are also allowed to eat meat. And if they don't violate the basic Noahide laws, they did not do anything wrong, and can eat meat without a problem.
@TagMahirTzedek I didn't disagree with you. Non-jews can do what they please they have no Mitzvot Ha'Torah (torah commandments) to live by. Are you Jewish?
@GavriellaMichal Yes I am. And by no Mitzwoth they have 7 Noahide laws which are the basic laws for all humanity. If they soo wish they can become Jewish as well, but it is not obligatory for them.
Thank you for posting this video. You're asking important questions that any intellectually honest person should have. I am very sorry that it took me this long to reply. I didn't realize that you posted this video until only a week ago. I've already prepared and recorded 4 replies to this video, to different questions you asked. I've already posted the first of these. I'll reply the rest every few days from now, G-d willing. All the best.
You look cute
