This is, as usual, just perfect. To the best of my knowledge U2 have never performed this song live, I think because the high vocal in the chorus was too demanding for Bono. Your vocal talents are astounding, Mike, I'd love to know if you ever had singing lessons or if it is just a natural gift that you've always had. Astounding stuff :)

Now as I hear covers like yours, I like what I hear and may actually check them out better than I did years ago. Although you do have me worried, because if yours are unrecognizable, then it may be you and not them that I am more of a fan of, not that that is entirely a bad thing.

Just insane vocals. I'd love to hear your story. Voices like yours just don't go through life without getting "discovered." Of course - your voice has been discovered here, but I agree with so many others here and on your other posts. Why aren't we seeing you on a more national stage?
