I honestly enjoyed Manos better than many movies of its kind, made before and since, and I like the ending of it. I find the qualities put in by apparent ineptness adds a surreal creepiness to it that a more professional movie would be lacking. Your trailer does it justice.

Back in 1966, I saw MANOS in El Paso.... Long before the media called it the worst movie, I knew it was the worst for me even before the movie was over! People were laughing and smiling as they left the movie.... I have pleasant memories of the movie "Manos: The Hands of Fate."

I know this is considered one of the worst films of all time, but you know, the guy made the damn movie. He was made a bet he couldn't make a movie on his own, and he did it. It's an accomplishment in itself, and although it is horrible, so many people have seen it. There are people out there who've made great movies who are rejected from the film festival circuit all the time. Hats off to Harold P. Warren, who showed the world everyone could make a movie, but not everyone could do it well.

Very cool trailer, really made a shit film look almost half good. Minor criticism; slightly too long. It kinda made the whole thing less dramatic, e.g. The bit where you put the cast names in, you could have given each person about a second, instead of 5. Pretty cool though, very well done!

The award winning documentary on Manos, Hotel Torgo, is being released soon and will likely be seen on TV and more festivals soon as well. One of the directors (Aaron Allard) is keeping people updated on the Hotel Torgo page on IMDB. It's amazing and I recommend seeing it if you're a fan of Manos, or even if you're not!

Hal Warren (who plays Michael) wrote, produced & directed this film. It flopped miserably in 1966 only to be revived by MST3K around 1993. Torgo was supposed to be a Satyr.
