when yoko made a list of johns songs for copywrite resons she listed this it even fooled her into thinking it was johns song they are drunk in the studio which is why it sounds like this
"HAVE YOU HEARD THE WORD" by the FUT is now officially available to buy on the CD "TIN TIN" by TIN TIN, on the French 'MAGIC' Lable. Barcode ( 3700139 307809 ) Amazon.
This recording had nothing to do with the Bee Gees. It was only Maurice Gibb (producing the Tin Tin group) behind this impersonation, just having fun after a bottle of whiskey & a handful of painkillers for his broken arm. Unbelievably great Mo !!!
Maurice, who plays bass (despite a broken arm), and sings all the vocals, sadly died in 2003. He very rarely sang lead as that wasn't his fortier, but his melodic contribution to the Bee Gees was extremely significant alongside his keyboard and bass playing.
@XDPeruMan When the first Bee Gees single came out (1941 New York Mining Disaster- 1967) EVERYONE thought it was John Lennon singing lead. That's why it sounds like him here too. Nobody had ever heard the Bee Gees before.
I did purchase the LP yes, so? LOL. JK! I did purchase the LP though, seriously. hehe! I think everything is awesome, yah know me! LOL

Sad that Maurice Gibb died. It's kinda sad to see him performing as a child and now he's dead. Someone's gotta cure cancer.

This is hilarious how they jokingly exaggerated all the things that make the late Beatles! But what a beautiful recording they created.

This sounds like a bad Rutles song.

I listened to this song in one of the beatles bootlegs about 20 years ago.
And since then, I've believed this was recorded during Get Back/Let It Be session.
I'm so shocked but thank you for putting up the fact.

@djyosuke Lennon is unlikely to have written a song with virtually identical words to a song he wrote 4 yrs. earlier is he?
