  • @samizy126 hahahahah ur dumb.. check out my video's, i have 2 videos of my mustang.. this is not the stock block. the stock 2bolt main 302's that came in these cant successfully support more the 500rwhp..(believe me i found out the hard way) this car has easily $25k into the engine alone, to produce these numbers like that, not to mention a full-tubular frame(to be able to squeez those 10.5 tires under the rear) thats a $80k build easy! do some research kid

  • heres the deal, there actually are people out there making monster power from imports. i know theres rice out there, but theres also more and more american cars gettign riced out too. give credit where its due... look at the rotary engine, no pistons , 1.3 liters, makeing 280+hp na . the 2.0 sr20det made 225 whp, what did the 93 mustang make out of a 5.0. i love all cars, im a real car guy. built/owned/raced em all. you can hate all you want, but thats all fact. look into the vh45de

  • Good point Mc Slide, I give the fast imports/4 cyls props for doing alot with such small displacement, I simply just don't like the sound lol. I drive a grand am daily and am building a '66 Mustang with a 351, i'll post vids when its running it'll be fun. I only hate on the wing-ding taped together imports, and yes some dodge neons and even some mustangs out there with those dumb owners who spend money on looking fast, not being fast. Never looked into the rotary engine, thats crazy lol

  • i built my 240sx, i took a 1995 infiniti Q45 v8 32v with a 6 bolt main and forged bottom end , alluminum block and head, rated at 287( though way under rated, make that to the wheels) and mated a 300zx trans to it , so its a 5spd now , i make 320 and 320 to the road, run a 12.2 with all stock components. look into my video " the 450sx". looks better now. my first car was a 95 thunderbird , sold it to a friend who put a 351 into it..crappy tranny though whatever it was. off the line was quick

  • @twistymcslide Some people only love name brands, the rest of us car lovers judge each car as they come which is what makes us "car" guys and not "Ford" or "Chevy" guys. Gone are the days of brand loyalty, now it's all about power to the wheels and as much boost as you can possibly afford. I own a Mustang by the way, but like you I've had them all from Camaros, Chevelles, Fords, Chryslers etc etc

  • Ricers blow!. With enough money, you can make anything go fast. I have an 89LX Hatchback that I've owned since 91. It has 166k miles on it, the botton end has never been apart, and it takes a 150 shot of juice all the time with no breakage. You ricers will go through 8 - 10 cars/motors in that time frame!.

  • You import guys are retarded, yeah makes 1000whp and 200 ft/lb of tq. Be realistic, there are a handfull of guys running around in the 9's and a few to name in the 8's. There are about 10000+ in the 9's and 8's with a v8, not to mention the guys running 7's and below.

  • 1111 rwhp on a Dyno Dynamics dyno is headed north of 1500 hp of the crank.

    The call Dyno Dynamics the "heartbreakers" because the numbers are so low compared to dynojets. But their ability to properly load a turbo motor makes them invaluable for tuning if you're looking for something more than bragging numbers.

  • No factory cast crank, or conecting rods, are going to withstand that power. You would need to have the whole bottom end built.

  • yeah i know, and i also know with the proper mods imports can be extreamly fast. but the wide majority of people with imports stick a fart can on the back of it and think they can take on any car on the street. those are what we call ricers, not all imports are.

  • Nice sarcasm - refreshing. 500HP is a lot of HP, I don't care what punk says. Sure, with a turbo and the right components and knowledge, you can make HP out of almost any motor. Ricers have proven that, haven't they? Now, throw away the turbos, nitrous and superchargers, and now let us compare things. It really all boils down to the science. A tuned/optimized H22A engine produces about 223HP @ 2.2L, which is impressive. That's 101HP/litre. A 4.6L can acheive 491HP, which is about 107HP/litre.

  • H22 is a terd of a motor, lets compare a K24/K20. Skunk2 recently dyno'd 390whp all motor no juice from a 2.6L, which is 150hp/litre.

    2.0L Boosted B-Series engines can make 1000whp with a 74mm Turbo on gasoline, thats 500hp/litre, I wonder how many stock displacement 2500hp mustangs are running around on gasoline......

  • Well, for one, measuring HP/litre applies to native/natural engine efficiency, not if boosted or otherwise. The point is to measure the efficiency engine's architecture, not how much boost on "gasoline" you can blow through it before it pops. There are plenty of mustangs running around with ~1000HP on gasoline - and have been since the 60s (yes, with power additivity). But about that K24, that's pretty amazing efficiency if it didn't have ANY power adders, incl. turbos, chargers or methanol.

  • Another thing, too, is RPM capability. I'm willing to bet you one of two things: [1] that K24 motor was NOT stock and had a very high redline (10K+ RPM), or [2] it is stock, and it is a ticking time bomb that will NEVER be "reliable" horsepower. And, can the heads and intake physically feed enough cfm to make the HP?

  • I never said the motor was stock, but it is an OEM Block/OEM Head as that is the most reliable combination. I dont think a 302 could make 1000whp on a completely stock block/gasoline either. All these B/K engines also use OEM Honda cranks, as they EASILY hold 1000whp/11krpm without an issue.

    330+cfm is obtainable through OEM heads with 1mm oversize valves, nothing crazy.

    Recently at E-Town a 2500+lb B Integra broke 8sec @ 167 in the street class with a 72mm turbo on Gas with more in it.

  • The K Hybrid is an amazing engine. If you ever get a chance to look at a B or K series head I invite you to, we all know the V8 world has a smorgasboard of head and intake manifold selection including full custom to completely maximize the power output. The B engine has one head selection and it is a waste of money, the K series has nothing. We obtain these numbers using OEM Blocks and OEM heads, and the heavy performance market has only been around for 8 years, much more 2 com

  • I might add that with Methanol and an unknown turbo size there are some recent test B-series motors that are cracking 1500 at the crank, insane from a 2.0L 4cyl

  • dont get me wrong I do not disrepect Domestics, but I believe you should give credit where it is due and inline 4's put out impressive numbers and great effeciency in a simple package.

    I grew up around V8's, my dad was self employed and had money to go around. First car I ever drove was a 87 GNX #352, we also had a 70 Buick GSX stg1 and a 69 GTO Judge, I just to do things that are different and making big power in a small package appeals to me.

  • 500 hp would be a 4.6's absolute limit on a stock block.. and even that's not easily achieved unless you've got a really good builder who knows EXACTLY what he/she is doing.

  • the 4.6 in the terminators is good to 2000hp in fact hellion added twinj 66s to an otherwise stock(fuel system was upgraded) 03 cobra and made 1188rwhp with NO other mods.

  • If it really had twin 67's that 1000 hp easy, watch it bind up the frame on the dyno, And TT doesnt mean smaller turbines, thats how it goes on production cars but this is not a production car. TT v8's are no joke they make huge power with only a little persuading

  • 5769JJ, which gear has nothing to do in whatever gear your pulling. As long as the cam has a load on it, then it doesnt matter...usually people want you to hit on third or so cause that when the cam is usualy beginning to build good power. but it doesnt really matter.
