I think he brought up a valid point, that this is just another expansion to Starcraft one. Granted, it is a badass expansion with a plethora of new units and better graphics, but the premise of the game is still the same. Now, maybe that opinion will change when they talk a little bit more about these Xel'Naga observation tower, but that's for the future to decide.

you would want to change the gameplay because thats what makes a new game NEW and not just an expansion. the hero system in wc3 was a HUGE change to gameplay of previous blizzard rts's, but its what made the game interesting and compelling. you dont have to throw everything about sc1 out the window, but there really should be entirely new elements of gameplay besides just new units

i kinda like the more compact small detailed design of starcraft 1 but now it looks more bulky like the battlecruiser looks fatter now.. but the marines look hot.. im not into the whole interactive crap i just want the rts game. Sooo like does anyone know that cheat code the guy in the demo put it to get 3 thors and 3 bc's?

that was just so if he messed up the mission while showing it to te millions of people who watched this he could finish the campain and show what he needed to show. I seriously doubt there is going to be a cheat code to spawn a unit, that could mess up anything anywer like triggers or how a map is suppost to play out,so thats just a dumb idea anyway you look at it.

Actually, SC2 began development BEFORE WoW was released. Blizzard had loads of cash b4 WoW, and has a hell of alot more now after WoW :).

no, they were working on Starcraft ghost which was stopped because of the lack of funding they could put into the project.

It was actualy pulled also because it was originaly designed for the older platforms of xbox, playstation, but since the new platforms were coming out soon that they decided to scrap it

rofl. C&C3 is all about tank rush... thats all. if you can tank rush, you win. SC1 is way cooler imo, much more to it than scorpions and medium tanks rushing out...

i agree.. aslo sc1 has a lot of tactics and strategies and almost all units can be use effectively.. also in CC3 buildings keep popping up of nowhere you can even stop the building process coz there is no builder..
