Vancouver's infrastructure looks like it was built by homosexuals, Asians, and hippies and bureaucrats . Some of Edmonton's infrastructure may need renovations but thats something you will see in every city you fool. Just look at hastings street in Vancouver or east Broadway or parts of Surrey. There are various good and bad aspects of living in The Fraser Valley of British Columbia or in Edmonton, but ultimately Edmonton is a better city to reside in. BOTTOM LINE!

I lived in Vancouver for 16 years and although I enjoyed its night life and scenery and artistic scene, I moved out to Alberta last year because the cost of accommodation in Vancouver and the lower mainland is ridiculously expensive and the vast majority of jobs that city has to offer pay minimum wage to $10 per hour(unless your lucky and get in a union). I mean how the fuck is someone suppose to raise a family on with those kind of bullshit wages?
