  • @mastera57 YES!

  • wouldn't it be cool if this actually happened in traffic?

  • PC Andy

  • what the hell is the advert at the end! 0:30

  • @HaiderNawaz no when it was done there where 10 doctors but the 2nd fact is still wrong lol

  • @CoolKillerClan

they did say "I dont care if its dated"

  • @HaiderNawaz Actually Fact 3 is also wrong, TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimension (no 's') In Space

  • @CrazyStalkerPerson

    It is dimensions :/

  • @redalader In the classic series, I am pretty sure it was in The Unearthly Child (first ever episode, broadcast 23/11/1963), the Doctor says that it is dimension. I think that it was Rose, or some other companion, in the modern series who said 'dimensions', thus the confusion.

  • @CrazyStalkerPerson

    really? Hmmm

  • This advert needs to come back on TV.

  • Haha! Brill!

  • anyone els noticed that its the sound of the drums???

  • ITS ANDY FROM TORCHWOOD SITTING NEXT TO HIM!

    :D

  • @Missjaspercullen1 I KNOOWW....:DDD

  • Isn't that the cop from Torchwood sitting next to him?

  • What a stupid comercial

  • Ingenious!

  • hahah, that guy is in Big cook little cook on cebebies

  • @1STDIMENTION Also, there's no need to shout dear.

  • @1STDIMENTION That wasn't my point. My point was that this man is saying that the Daleks were originally known as the Mutants, while they weren't. The story they first featured in was called "The Mutants".

The Daleks did originally "evolve" from the Kaleds, but the blobby thing in bonded polycarbide armour was always called a Dalek.

Also, in their first appearance, they were said to have evolved from a race called the Dals. Terry Nation changed it when he wrote "Genesis of the Daleks".

  • this is brilliant.

  • Clever advert.

  • What an idiot

  • Hey, it's Andy! SQUEE!

  • It's PC Andy!!!

  • Its big cook!!!!

  • The noise makes me think of the Master's tapping in "Sound Of Drums" were I the only one?

  • hahhahhahha! this is hsiterical the one thing he got right was the TARDIS

btw! casanova is on the front of one of those radio times' xD

  • Lol! The beeping in the background plays the theme!

  • Ha did you know YOUR WRONG?

  • To be fair, most Doctor Who fans know what the TARDIS stands for. I doubt the people who created this advert managed to get many more viewers for their magazine.

    ~Tim Prince.

  • Haha! Awesome! Is that Tom Price in the front seat?

  • He got everything wrong! There have not been ten DOCTOR WHO's There have been ten Doctors, Doctor Who is hte name of the show. The Daleks were originally called the Kaleds

  • @daleksfearthewhovian

That's all true, obviously, BUT up until David Tennant's Doctor, in the credits the Doctor is called "Doctor Who". And in the media they sometimes say "Doctor Who" instead of "the Doctor" so that people will realize what they're talking about and not ask themselves, "Wait what Doctor? Did I miss something?"

  • @GracefulAnimal Actually, the credits started listing the Doctor as "The Doctor" back in Peter Davison's era, 1982, and afterwards, so it really isn't that new a debate. Contextually, it makes more sense that the Doctor be referred to, in story, as "The Doctor", much as with the Master, the Rani (whose name means "the Queen"), etc, with the out-of-narrative, public reference of "Doctor Who" for the character being fine for "layman's" terms, so to speak...

  • why didn't andy talk!

  • It's Andy from 'Torchwood'.

  • your right and andy never even knows about the doctor until this ad

  • The Daleks were originally called The Mutants?

Er nope, they were called Kaleds, the first episode they appear in is called "The Mutants"

"You're more informed because we're more informed" lol, not one person on the production team bothered to check. The media is full of clowns

  • Yes but, the Kaleds were not Daleks. They were the creatures before they became mutated. Hence the title of the episode. They were mutated Kaleds...named later as being Daleks.

  • OMG. I can remember watching this advert when it was on. I wanted to tape it but of course its rather difficult to tape and advert since you don't know when ones coming on. Well you usally don't know anyway.

  • Tom Price? How'd he get there?!

  • @JackLovesTheDoctor he's a regular in loads of adverts :P

  • @Sutchy0401992 Links please?

  • I thought there would be the "shhh!"-thing from Fear Her. :D

  • At first I thought the horns were going to The Master's drum beat until I realized they were doing the theme, lol.

  • lol pc andy is made of win!

actully what did happen to andy at the end of C.O.E we never saw him after the helicopter....?

  • Hey! That was Andy from Torchwood! XD

  • The P. C. Andy Adventures! It'd be a ratings winner!

    xx

  • omg thats what i thought as well!!

  • Is that Big cook? lots like him

  • intresting......

  • just imagion if tht actaully happened i would get out and stand on the bonnet and go "eewoooooooo" lol this rocks 5/5 favs

  • love the advert so much!

  • That was so funny.

  • Spot on Saternalius. Must all be part of the DDOBBC...that's the Dumbing Down Of.

As William Hartnell would say, a little bit of knowledge is always a dangerous thing ;p

  • "The Daleks were originally called The Mutants".

No they weren't. The story "The Daleks" featuring their first appearance was originally titled "The Mutants", but the Daleks were always called the Daleks. Twat.

  • @Saternalius actually your wrong too...the daleks were originally called the 'Kaleds' and were mutated by davros

    Jordy5234

  • @Jordy5234 I am well aware that the race they mutated from was the Kaleds.

Except in the story "the Daleks" (which is the one that was originally called "The Mutants") they were identified as having been "Dals".

And it's "you're wrong", not "your wrong".

  • HIS NAME IS NOT DOCTOR WHO, HE'S JUST THE DOCTOR FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!

  • @Saternalius

hahaha!! they never get there facts right!! and also his name isnt doctor who!! (exception being the two dalek movies) hes just the doctor!! he says it enough for gods sake!!

  • @Saternalius lol very true

  • @Saternalius 1. You are, of course, correct. 2. You don't have a girlfriend, do you?

  • @Widmerpool99 1. Thank you very much. 2. No, not currently. Are you offering? ;)

  • @Saternalius good to see some1 else who knows their stuff

  • @Saternalius

I thought they were originally called the kaleds! I need to bump up my who knowledge!

  • @mrwho995 Before the Daleks became the Daleks they were the Kaleds but they were first called the Daleks.

  • @Saternalius Also, the Doctor is just the Doctor. People had to fuck it up with the 2 60s Dalek movie and the stupidly-titled Doctor Who and the Silurians. Stupid bastards

  • @Saternalius nope they were called karleds first they had a war agenst the thals which they both used nuclear weapons which mutated both races and the scientist davros put them into travel machines and removed their emotions easy!

  • @dalekandjedi It's spelt "Kaled". And yes, I know the full history of the Daleks as put forward in "Genesis of the Daleks", broadcast in 1975. However, in the original story "The Daleks", broadcast in 1963 and written by Terry Nation, they were said to have evolved from a race called the Dals, having mutated because of the nuclear war with the Thals. However, when Nation wrote "Genesis of the Daleks", he decided to change their background and say that they'd evolved from the Kaleds.

  • @Saternalius And the Daleks were created in the war between the Kaleds and the Thals. :3

  • lawl the theme tune in car horns.

    lubbly.

  • HEH

That guy is really annoying i just wanna smack him!

  • there is a casanova one!!!
