Mental Health Care is underfunded and many who need help never seek it because there is a social stigma to being mentally ill. Scientology offers no practical solutions at all for the mentally ill, while psychiatry and mental health care has helped a good percentage of those that sought care. What Scientology is doing is making it even tougher for those people that need help to not get it because psychiatry is being smeared, leading to more untreated people.
