  • when I was a baby, my mother found a dog in the same conditions; she was horribly abused, beaten, starved, chained outside. No one did anything for that dog. My mom told the owner to give the dog to her, she said no, so she told her that she had only $20 in her pocket, the owner said ok, and my mom bought her. Samantha was the most kind and beautiful doberman ever! she lasted a year longer than she was supposed to, she was so loyal to us! <3

  • tammy u r my hero as well as all the little furry people who cant speak for themselves.

  • I am not saying they did not abuse the dog, but I live in canada and had german shepherds and they NEVER came in house. now these are REAL dogs mind u and they grow big winter coats.

I WON`T HAVE A DOG NOW BECAUSE I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT AND DOGS NEED MORE ROOM. LIE DOWN WITH DOGS AND WAKE UP WITH FLEAS

IN 3RD WORLD COUNTRIES PEOPLE LIVE WITH ANIMALS

  • yes, you are a hero. if there were more people like you, the message would become more in peoples's faces. I believe if there are enough of us out there pushing the limits, the issue will have to be dealt with.

  • whoops...wrong tammy grimes. I wanted the singer.

  • I'd love an update on your case. Thanks for caring more about the dog than about "property" rights.

Just yesterday, a friend and I trespassed on a woman's property to videotape her ~30 dogs and the wretched conditions they are kept in. We turned the video over to the local humane society. Still wondering about the legal ramifications.

  • it may be because i am 13 but i didnt get one word.

  • Tammy, you are a hero in every sense of the word. You are the voice for those helpless and voiceless animals that suffer at the hands of "humans". My admiration for you knows no bounds. I stand in awe of your determination to bring light to the darkness of those tormented precious souls bound by chains both physical and mental. God bless you. There is a special place in heaven for you, and a special place in hell for the "judge" who turned this into such a nightmare.

  • God bless you, know that you are an angel of god, truly what this world needs, more people like yourself, not more humans who continue with cruelty to animals

  • DA's are a joke I send them cases in the course of my job and have to basically plead with them to take them.m god bless you!

  • You are a true hero, Tammy! It is brilliant to see someone taking such risks for doing the right thing. My heart breaks for Doogie and other animals who suffer from cruelty. Your gift to him was truly priceless.

  • It is a real shame that you cannot help a hurt or dying animal without the permission of the "owner"! If a "human" animal was laying in a street or yard help would be administered without permission in an emergency situation. An animal should be treated with the same compassion & care. They are ALSO living, breathing creatures with feelings, such as pain & HUNGER just like us!

  • I support you. I think your local judicial system is corrupt and absolutely, quite frankly, RETARDED.

  • Good for you. I would have done the same thing and have done it. Only the owners didn't care and allowed it. Big of them, eh? Do we have any updates on this?

  • Parece imposible, es que no hay leyes?

  • Tammy, my heart goes out to you, and to all the dogs who will not be helped because you are in prison for helping one of them. It is mostly by taking a stand as you did, and being in the spotlight that people will get educated against abuse, going on and on in many of the backyards of our countries. You are a true hero, we are all behind you and trying to get you free! Stay strong!

  • What can people do to help you in your quest? I personally have taken animals away from horrible owners. I want to support you in this wrongly accused of being HUMANE!

  • Terrible stuff.

  • I cannot begin to express my outrage on this... how can saving a dying, sick and injured dog be labelled as "theft"?

The judge who sentenced you has obviously never owned a pet, and therefore is probably impoverished in his inner soul... don't be angry at him, it his own funeral, so to speak.

  • it shows how the system works, police often fail their jobs, i support you on all that you do and this is wrong pennsylvania should be ashamed!! and that couple just need to be taken out and shot!! blair county seems to SUCK!! keep doin what you do what is judje doyles problem? he needs to wake up i'm sure he has no pets i feel for the people that go in front of him no justice you know he's a crook

  • Tammy you have many supporters and I'm sure I speak for them when I say - you are fighting the good fight - you have done nothing wrong, yet are being punished unjustly.

The system is definitely broken, especially when it comes to animal cruelty.

You are a very strong, intelligent, compassionate and brave human being.

    My thoughts are with you.

  • Oh, Tammy, I can't even BEGIN to tell you how much I love what you've done and are doing. I wish I had your education and ability to articulate for the day when I find myself in your situation. I will NOT stand by and let an animal be abused in this or any other manner, so ability to fight the law or not, I'm committed to animals. Thank you for standing up to (albeit backwards) "authority", you are a hero to MANY people and animals!!

  • Fight the good fight, Tammy. The animal rights movement is by your side.

  • With Bush having introduced these domestic terrorist laws it is even going to be harder to protect animals whom are so in dire need of protection. These laws have basically given psychopaths the free right to abuse animals beyond human comprehension with full protection for them under the law. We are supposed to be morally progressing. I dare say this new Bill has set back any progress made on behalf of animal's rights to the dark ages where Bush should be brought to and burned at the stake.

  • name one thing bush has done right he sucks he should be ripped apart by wild animals i hope he burns in hell

  • Barb622

Ditto darling - I just hope we do not all end up there with him with in hell due to the wrath he has brought down upon our planet. At the end of the day were are all kin and with him in place he could have a mother hate her own baby with his ruthless practice and hypocrisy in claiming Christ as his saviour. He is an anti-Christ if there ever was one. And I am not at of any particular faith - still painstakingly searching. My humanity tells me he is evil.

  • We have the same problem here in Canada - just mere property. My cat suffered a gruesome and painful death due to an apparent veterinary approved medicinal compound. She meant the world to me. When I attempted to seek justice for her I was told sorry she is nothing under the law - just dead useless property.

  • You are unbelievable. I feel honored just watching your video. If the world had just a handful of peoples such as yourself it would be a far better place. You are a true angel of mercy and deserve the up most respect that could be endowed upon any human being. Deepest respects to you.

  • thank you!

you are such a sweet person!

no1 should walk free if they abuse an animal!

an animal is not a someone's property!

he/she is a living thing! not some assholes property!

there should be more people like you in the world!

  • One doesn't 'steal' a dog from dying a slow, painful death at the hands of his neglectful owners....one frees and gives aid to the dog.

Pity that some property rights fanatics can't see that a dog is a living being. Doogie's owners should have been charged with animal cruelty.

  • What is this world coming too? You are an example of what all man-kind should be like! The system is truely failing! I don't understand how people can be so cold-hearted to what is suppose to be (man's best-freind) I pray that the Judge's heart is softened towards you and all the good that you stand for. My heart breaks for so many dogs that are left out in the cold and longing for love and warmth. A pet belongs in the home and part of the family, not in a box with a chain around their neck!

  • Tammy, this was a well done address that is morally consistent with all that you have done and continue to do for the rights of animals. We are praying for you, and pray also that out of this something good will happen for the cause of animal rights. I consider it morally outrageous that the judge would not permit the jury to have access to any information pertinent to this case. I consider it equally outrageous that laws are still in the books that consider animals as property. We love you!

  • Tammy has a conscience and morals. It's too bad that the people that have authority to save animals don't do their jobs, and that people who are on a power-trip use their power and interpretation of the law to misguide people.

Has a fund been started for Tammy? Or, everyone that believes in supporting animals in need can donate to her group in memory of Doogie and NOT to the Humane Society.

  • I said it before and I am saying it again, Tammy, you are an angel. Stay strong. I wonder if your accusers and convicters are possibly wishing they could go back and do this again, the right way. Shame on them. I will be with you in spirit on Friday.

  • Bless your heart Tammy, I'll be thinking about you Friday, and hoping for the best.

  • Dear Tammy

You are doing the best job for animals. I wish you all the best of luck on your trial. Doogie had a best life at the end. He was loved and people were taking care of him. You are amazing. I only wonder why Humane sociaty didn't do anything for Doogie.

I have a question for Humane Sociaty of America: Do you sleep well now after what happened to Doogie? Are you clapping hands together now when Tammy is facing trial? I have lost my trust and faith for you. I hope you are a shaimed

  • Tammy you are amazing! Thank you for all you do!

  • All I can say Tammy is I wish you the best of luck on your trial. This is so unfair. There is no reason people who treat animals like this should be on this earth. They are useless. I wish they could receive the same treatment they give their poor unfortunate animals.

  • Please circulate this video far and wide. This is very important and if thousands more people would stand up like this, then perhaps significant change could occur in the laws pertaining to companion animals.

  • We are behind you Tammy 100% you are wonderful

  • THANK YOU Tammy for doing the right, moral and lawful thing. It is unfortunate that their are such uncivilized people in our society let alone our government. We can not claim to be a CIVILIZED nation until we begin to BEHAVE more humane, less barbaric, with BOTH the LIFE and DEATH of ALL living things. The world is CHANGING and you Tammy are in front of the pack, YOU are the Al Gore for dogs. You ARE SPECIAL. You REPRESENT correctness in human animal relationships. Peace to you.

  • Thank you for standing up and helping dogs. Dogs cant speak up for themselves so someone has to help them. It makes me sick to think about what some dogs go through just because they happened to end up with ignorant unloving "parents." It makes me more sick that our court system actually protects these people and punishes those willing to help. I am behind you and DDB 100%!

  • You are a brave woman Tammy! God bless you for all that you do! This whole fiasco is just absurd, to say the very least. Animals should not be considered "property". They are living beings, as are we, and have rights to protect them, that need to be enforced. I stand behind you 100%.

  • I commend you for standing up for animal rights! You should also consider helping ten times the amount of animals you do now. Stop the most prevalent animal abuse (factory farming) and go VEGAN!

  • It scary knowing that these are the people that make decisions that effect our lives everyday. You did the right thing by law and by humanity. I'm surprised that the SPCA or the Humane Society, has not offered its support.

  • The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: "If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?"

The good Samaritan reversed the question: "If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?" - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.

  • This is horrible. I can't believe that YOU'RE the one who is on trial when the dog owners were the ones doing wrong! Some states/cities still have it in their laws that animals are 'property'. If she had saved a human baby from their back yard, she would have been called a hero, instead they treat her like a criminal. Maybe you could get The Humane Society of the U.S. on your side? Maybe they could help turn the trial around?

  • I applaud you for what you are doing. You saved a life and did not look the other way, while the abusers of this dog saw him everyday and did nothing to help him. They should be punished for what they did. The police and animal officer should be punished for not doing their jobs. Had they done their jobs you wouldn't have had to rescue him. The DA and judge should just be fined for stupidity. Why don't they pay for your trial out of the DA and Judge's salaries? They didn't earn them.

  • Do not be so quick to judge, 'solarcycles'. In this small space I cannot tell the entire story: I was NOT silent. I made MANY attempts to help. I called the authorities (3 times) and wrote to the landlord/owner of the house (2 times). I contacted Ms. Grimes organization and got materials/asked them to send a letter to the dog owners. FINALLY authorities came. My yard/fence was vandalized in retaliation. The dogs were sold by the owner soon afterwards. I hope the dogs are in a better place now.

  • Suereale:

Thank you for being more detailed with your story and I do apologize for my quick judgment to your comment. I will erase my other comment.

  • I guess a twit who don't appreciate what Tammy did and does don't like comments commending her. They have voted thumbs down on alot of the comments.

  • some police are just stupid i almost got into trouble for not giving unlicenced pitbulls to the police i saved them from death.

  • Also, are there any "Good Samaritan" laws for animals?: "A person who renders emergency medical services or aid to an ill, injured or unconscious person (or animal?), at the immediate scene of an accident or emergency that has caused the illness, injury or unconsciousness, is not liable for damages for injury to or death of that person (or property?) caused by the person's act or omission in rendering the medical services or aid unless that person is grossly negligent."

  • I witnessed a neighbor abusing their dogs. It is horrible and distressing to witness. We should all start suing animal abusers for emotional distress!

  • well said to all of you who have spoken up for this brave lady

  • well done for you ms grimes glad you are sticking to your priciples the people who had this dog chained up so it couldnt move are the ones who should go to jail not you hope the verdict gets overturned

  • Since when is owning a dog a right and not a privledge? Thank you Ms. Grimes for standing up for that poor, helpless animal. I will be sending letters to not only your judge and governor, but mine as well, encouraging him to influence your governor's stance on your conviction.

  • This world would be in a better way if more people had Tammi's courage.

  • Tammi, you are a hero. I am writing to the judge right now. How in a civilized world you could be prosecuted and those who allowed this dog to suffer in this fashion are protected is beyond belief. I love you. May you be blessed.

  • "If you talk to the animals they will talk with you and you will know each other. If you do not talk to them you will not know them and what you do not know, you will fear. What one fears, one destroys."

    ---Chief Dan George

  • This woman deserves a medal for having the guts to stand for her convictions. I have been following her story since Day1 and as far as I am concerned, the people involved in Doogy's story have made that town a place I'd rather not visit or live in. Ms. Grimes and her group were trying to relieve the suffering of an older, dying dog and I salute her and had it been me, I'd have done the same thing.

  • As a Police Officer, I am sickened that the animal control officers as well as the police officers and court officials involved did nothing to the owners of these dogs. I just wish others would start speaking up for the rights of animals. Everyday I see animals getting picked up and taken to the pound because of irresponsible pet owners and it definitely wears on you. I comend you for doing what you thought to be the right thing to help an animal that did not deserve such cruel treatment.

  • well said DanielleM122

  • What a gross miscarriage of "justice"!!

How dare they?? Those poor animals!! What sub human people those owners are! THEY should go to jail!!!

  • No one has the right to be cruel to an animal, the way that dog's "owners" were cruel to him. Their treatment of him was barbaric and ILLEGAL. Authorities were entreated to intervene and assist but they abdicated their responsibilities. Why Ms Grimes should be punished for stepping in and bringing an end to an illegal action is mystifying.

Pennsylvanians, remember these names come election time:

    - Judge Elizabeth Doyle

    - District Attorney Richard Consiglio

  • How is that she gets arrested for rescuing that poor abused dog's while its' heartless owners get off scot-free? This is outrageous and a injustice! We must all stand up behind Tammy and write to the Governor and the Judge! "Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." Anatole France

  • Sad.. Very sad

  • You are so brave and a friend to all animals. Thank you for standing up for something that truely matters!

  • Pet? Pets live INSIDE the house, and are called that because they are actually PETTED by their families...not chained and laying in the dirt in the backyard.

  • Why would someone treat a beloved PET that way!!! What they did was illegal and THEY are the ones who should be punished to the fullest extent!!

  • scottbpeed(on please), you are a Neanderthal, undeveloped, uncivilized like the judge and da, go back to your cave.

  • thank you, that poor dog! you are a very caring person.

  • You Go Girl!!

Could we "clone" your heart for all the love and support that you have given to pets that are abused!

    I support you!!

  • Can you please give the addresses for the DA and the Judge? Also, have you communicated with your state senators and representatives?

How frustrating for you, but what an opportunity to educate the public to the plight of some animals...and the need for change!

  • You did the right thing and my family stands behind you 100%. Maybe if more people cared like you, this world would be a better place for ALL living things. Dogs do deserve better.

  • We see it everyday...the law is certainly not on the side of these defenseless animals! You were an angel where Doogie is concerned. I would have done the same if presented with your situation. The book should have been thrown at Doogie's owner! It seems I am seeing more and more each day that no good deed goes unpunished. Thank God there are still people in the world with big hearts and good ethics...and a conscience. But I have to ask, where is our world headed?

  • Tammy what you did was atruely wonderful thing, we as far as europe stand behind you in every way, it is a sad world when the innocent suffer and the offenders get off lightly, what kind of law is that, obviously the judges do not have animals. or they would have been behind you all the way, but those who hurt animals will also hurt huma

  • I worked with animals for many years. I know the law is not on their side. We will and make it possible that animals will have a right to live not to be abused. Animal abusers will abuse children and adults. They are ABUSERS. You did the right thing I would of done the same thing. I respect and honor what you did. Thank you so much for all the wonderful work you are doing. We need more wonderful people like you. I highly respect and honor you so very much.

    Diane

  • Tammy, I am so happy that Doogie had you in his final hours of need. He died knowing love and compassion. Thank you for putting up the good fight. The fight to give a voice to those who cannot speak. I love you for that. Cat, Chaps and Emma...you loyal followers

  • Tammy, you are my hero. What an injustice to dogs that your kindness resulted in no education or repercussions to Doggie's so-called family. I am so saddened for all the dogs out there languishing. You are an angel and you have my utmost respect for your sacrifice. God bless you.

  • Tammy, the courts have failed you and Doogie and all others who seek redress for injustice. In spite of your conviction you are right and courageous and admired for your stand in defense of Doogie and all other suffering animals. All those on the leading edge of a movement are subject to the ridicule of the masses who have not achieved your level of enlightenment.... but they too will one day evolve to see the insensitivity of their actions..... time will be your vindicator.

  • Thank You Tammy! When I chain myself to a doghouse this July, I will be chaining for the dogs-- and FOR YOU.

  • Tammy, you are a hero to so many of us! You are loved and you will overcome. We love you Tammy!

  • Hahahaha that's true I hope he does.

  • Your words are resounding throughout our country. Your purpose and strength are admired by the vast majority. Thank you for being the great voice for the helpless neglected dogs.

  • Tammy my friend, partner in crime of helping those who can't help themselves... I stand beside you, applaud you and respect you. Most of all, Doogie died a humane death with peace and love because of you and Kim.

  • It is truely a sad state of affairs when the innocent ones are treated like the offenders. Never did understand the twisted minds of some who turn the facts around. How do the abusers become the faulted ones. Tammy you are a true hero for standing up to these people for what is undoubtedly one of the most twisted minds yet. I'm behind you 100 percent.

  • Tammy, you are awesome. As a fellow dog-stealer, I truly admire your decision to take the jail time. The turkeys who are trying to "get you" for this will pay dearly for their ineptitude come election time. They may not admit it, but they know in their hearts that they're wrong, and they've certainly stepped in a hornet's nest, haven't they?

  • Outrageous. Proof positive that the justice system is overly-flawed.

  • Tammy,as I have said MANY times,YOU are my hero! I,too, would choose jail!

I stand behind you along with so many others, and shame on you Pa...nice to see what compassion you teach your community....its disgraceful!!!

Ms. Grimes should be REWARDED NOT persecuted!!

  • This is just pathetic... to see the human race degraded like this, to jail someone for saving a life.

I hope that one day humans might treat animals with some of the respect they deserve... I fear I may be disappointed.

  • That's a very bad thing indeed why should you ever want to beat up and hang a dog to death.

I believe strongly that raising kids with respect for life, educating people and reeducating people are the key factors here.

I understand that people feel themselves powerless an become hostile in words but we cannot condone that.

Let's keep on fighting with the pen for the pen is mightier than the sword.

And this is an ancient wisdom I'd like to repeat. Dear greetz, Dan Bekkering.

  • We have been following this case from UK and it's a jaw dropper, it is unbelievable that a person could have charges brought against them for the compassionate action of saving a dying animal - when animal protection laws state animal cruelty is an offence! Tammy Grimes deserves a medal and animal abusers deserve to be brought to justice.

  • That was a great speech Tammy, and a great way to take a stand against the ignorant who are in charge. Neither the prosecutor nor the judge deserves to be a public servant. What a shame such uncaring people can have this power over those trying to make the country a better place for animals. I am proud to be a supporter of DDB.

  • I applaud your actions I have e-mailed the Governor of your State, I hope others do the same before you are sentanced. I will write also, and pass this on to others.

  • I would have chose jail too!

  • You are doing the right thing. If we don't speak for those who can't...who will!

  • Thank you, CDL!!

You always have the info the rest of need.

I'll be writing to the Judge and the Governor.

It will short, sweet and to the point.

  • Keep fighting, Tammy, I'm behind you, YouTubers are behind you, chained dogs are behind you. There's no way they can take you down. The meek shall inherit the Earth.

There's nothing more meek than a chained dog.

Hope you get tons of publicity. It will be a good thing for chained dogs everywhere.

  • I am still in awe that these people were not charged for cruelty and that police and animal control were not disciplined for not doing their job. All I can say is that this District Attorney must have a small case load if they would prosecute someone for being a good samaritan.

  • We need better laws. This is terrible. You were helping that pup! Ugh! I'm outraged!!!

  • Sometimes all you can do is shake your head and wonder what on earth are people thinking? How on earth could they charge this woman with theft by helping a dog that could not help themselves? Isn't it against the law in all states to abuse or neglect their pets? For all reading, if you have not yet contacted your representatives from your state to vote FOR a law that makes animal torture a felony please do so. This is nuts, I admire this person for her conviction and stance.

  • the "owners" of that dog should be beaten to death with their own severed limbs.

This woman showed a lot more restraint than I would have. Good for her for helping the dog and refusing to pay the blackmail fee.

  • She Saved a suffering dog & is being punished?

Pets are not property. We are to be Caregivers

to the Animals. Please help her! Are you listening Judge Elizabeth Doyle?

  • we have to stand Up against this Abuse these laws Must be changed. Peace and Love! Edward G. Rendell's Office717-787-2500 call this asshole.

  • Just called the office of mr Rendell in understanding that he was the policeman that gave the fine to this lady.

To my surprise I was calling with the office of Governor Rendell

Because I am from The Netherlands I could not now this was the Governor of Pennsylvania.

I really am stunned that you call this exellence the name that you called him.

How do you suppose to change any law if you are just insulting governors who can change things like these.

  • I didnt say he was a Police man I dont Know were you got that impression as Police cant change laws.. I called him an asshole as it is the Laws that Protect Abusers and Not the Victims I was Ref to. if he is doing something to change this Then I retract my statment if Not then he is an asshole and if the Label fits wear it.

why would it not be Better to call the Gov and make your Complaint then a Police Officer who would Just tell you its not in his Control? I hope you Loged a complaint!

  • You'll never survive in politics and never win any body's good will to change anything if you keep up "statements" ? like you call the thing you find is a label.

Since when is the word asshole a statement or a label it is just cheap namecalling.

  • Interesting did you tell the man about the Problem?

  • tammy grimes i tell you something you are a brave women they can take a few dollars from you or put you in jail but you save that dogs life you must be proud of your self and all animal lovers are proud of you tks HELP TAMMY GRIMES THIS BRAVE WOMEN GOD BLESS YOU

  • Tammy...place additional website links in the upper right hand corner of this site under the heading "About This Video".

Also you might want to place e-mail links to the judge, the district attorney's office etc...in the same location.

Also you might want to add to your tags...animal cruelty, torture, Michael Vick, etc..

You also should contact CNN, any national news channel, the Today show etc.

Thank you for your wonderful act of compassion.

  • PAWS UP to you for what you have done for so many. WAKE UP America ... it is not to late.

  • Write to Judge Elizabeth Doyle requesting leniency in sentencing. Please be professional and courteous in any communication.

  • Your welcome god bless!

  • God Bless you Tammy thank you for standing up for all us animal lovers all over the world hope that these judges finally come to thier senses.....you truly are one shining star...tony (savegreyhounds)

  • No they Didnt! Thank you for your kindness!

  • Good Job Tammy!!! Thank you for standing up for Dogs all over America!!

    Susan Helms

    North Carolina

  • Thank you for what you did. That´s so wonderful. If you have to go to jail it will give a very bad light on the US laws. Because I will spread this in Europe. I promise.

I usually don´t pray but I will pray for you and the dogs you saved and will be saved by you in the future!!!

  • thanks 4 having a HEART!!!!!! HATS OFF TO YOU...... I THANK YOU AN SO DO MY DOGS

  • I hope you and yours help spread the word about jury nullification. It is unbelievable that we are told we HAVE to decide on basis of the law, when that is just a lie.

You are a hero. Stay strong.

  • You are a HERO! Law and justice are two completely different things, which they should not be.

    United we stand!

  • Books won't stay banned. They won't burn. Ideas won't go to jail. In the long run of history, the censor and the inquisitor have always lost. The only weapon against bad ideas is better ideas.

    You are a hero!

  • Let me conclude with an old story about judges, law and justice.

Learned Hand was visiting Washington and went to lunch with Justice Holmes. They walked back to the Capitol. The Court was still sitting there in the Old Senate Chamber. As they parted, Hand called, "Sir, do justice."

The old man turned on him fiercely, eyebrows bristling: "Justice? What's that? That's none of my business. Law is my business."

  • ""As Holmes began to drive off in his carriage, Hand, in a sudden onset of enthusiasm, ran after him, crying, "Do

    justice, sir, do justice."

Holmes stopped the carriage and reproved Hand: "That is not my job. It is my job to apply the law."

  • Tammy's treatment is an outrage to her and every honest, compassionate citizen of this country. No one can expect justice when something like this can occur ANYPLACE!

  • As CityDogLover said OUTRAGEOUS!

  • Tammy,

You are a true hero and thank you for all you do for those who cannot speak for themselves! Not only the judge and prosecutor, the arnolds should be ashamed of their actions or lack of!! God bless you!

  • Tammy,

I am in the process of contacting the judge and prosecutor of your case and expressing my disgust to them for their lack of compassion and ignorance. The "laws" need to change, animals are NOT property and are NOT ours to harm. Any "human" who does this should be treated the same way and eye for an eye is my motto. I commend you and keep doing what is right for all of God's beautiful creatures I am behind you 1million percent.

You are a HERO to all animals!

  • Great video/speech. All animal lovers/activists are on your side, enraged by the injustice you've been treated with & dealt. Let us know where you'll be so we can send you letters. We will continue doing your work in each of our community, as usual, but w/extra vigilence. You have a wonderful heart & I celebrate it. If I could, I would make a toast to Ms. Tammy Grimes, animal activist & "shero"!

  • Here is a woman who honorably served her country... I would definitely stay with you in jail or even camp out outside of the prison in a show of support. Whatever I can do please email me. YOU ARE TRULY A HERO.

  • Good for you Tammy. There are not nearly enough people in the world who are willing to go to such lengths on behalf of animals, and I admire you for the work you do everyday and for your courage to stand up and do the right thing for Doogie. As others have said, I'd go with you to prison if I could - that sure would make a hell of a statement! Kudos to you Tammy!

  • GO TAMMY!

GOD HELP THE POOR WHITE HUSKY MIX STILL ON THE CHAIN!

It's ridiculous for anyone not to support Tammy on this case. It's not like she took away a healthy chained dog. We must help those who can't help themselves.

Those, like the AKC and National Animal Interest Alliance (maniacs who are 100% against animal rights), to whom animals are property, are PARANOID and believe that if a dog can be removed from one's land to save his/her life, it can be done under any circumstances.

  • I am a loss for words Tammy .. you are a true ambassader for our precious animals ..i would willingly serve a prison sentence with you girl .

  • You just keep on doing what you do and all of us out here will back you every step of the way - this JUSTICE (?) SYSTEM and all those in power have their values inside out, totally wrong - You gave Doogie LIFE and dignity even in his hour of death !

  • I have joined your organization and will help however I can to stop this injustice!

  • You go girl!! If I could go to jail for you, I would!!! The only way to teach others about animal abuse, sometimes we have to do things that cause us great pain. But afterwards, we can stand with our heads high. The people in positions of power DO THE RIGHT THING!

As for this dog seen as a mere piece of property, I can only think that God himself will see it otherwise!

  • I cant not believe them!!
