Hi there. I would like to know if a Marantz # 2250B wooden cabinet would fit a # 2230 receiver. Also how would you uninstall the 2250B cabinet from it's chassis. I notice 4 small nuts on the bottom of the unit. Would simply loosening those nuts release the cabinet from the chassis just slide it out ? Thanx. Scott
I remember my parents having an MCS system…it was all silver but the turntable wasn't part of it and was a separate component …I *THINK* they still have the turntable, not sure though, I should check and see if they do, the rest of it was thrown away b/c one thing after another went out and at that time, it wasn't worth replacing since CDs were on the market
@pspheaven All the music is done by this awesome guy I met back in the early days of Hak5IRC named Moonlit. He has a site here, bgaaudio[dot]org. The intro theme is something he custom made for me, and you can find it by searching "obsoleet" on archive[dot]org. The song I use in this opening skit is "Analostalgia", and the music bits from ep 6 are "Medicate" and "Phenol", all of which can be found on his site.
the most djs use technics direct drive for scratching not audiotechnica. i would choose for a scrap system a automatic belt drive turntable and not a cloned dj drive
Cool stereo that was back when speakers actually had bass! and woofers larger than "8" AND a rack included, now everything is overpriced and the rack is NOT included.

@raymondleeleggs It is definitely my favorite stereo. I guess they just don't make 'em like they used to.
