Personally i feel that lion dance is a passion and an art that is very important in chinese culture. in this case i'd say that the drumming is good but needs improving,

Very Clean routine. Great expressions from both the head and tail. I just wish the lion would have been drunk for a bit longer. There will always be haters, he's probably some 16 year old kid with too much pride. Either way good job.

I started a team with my friend at University Of Irvine 3 years ago called "Southern Wind Lion Dancing Team", so currently I'm with them. But i used to dance with Loong Mah in San Francisco when i lived up there. Happy for my old team though, they got 2nd in the National Freestyle Championship in SF.

The lion dance team I am in was at NFLDC in 2005 and we watched Loong Mah, they did a very good job but fell 2nd to YKM. I thought the routine was great. Were you in the team in 2005 ?

this is not Chow Gar lion is hoksan type.

we practice Chow Gar Kung Fu and also have Chow Gar lion dancing also. But this is just one routine we come up with with hok san style drumming and lion dancing.
