BTW, God gave reproduction, man made abortions. God gave food to all people, man made weapons to fight over it. God gave man free will, man used it for evil deeds. There is a downside to intelligence. After all, the fruit of knowledge was for both good and evil.

@PppPlyr1 Science created the imbalance and the xtraordinary population explosion ot he last 2 centuries. Science provides the means the curb this imbalance. God``s balance was to have many children and a lot died before adulthood. God gave food to nobody. Science is trying to keep up, with the continued increase in demand for food. God is an amuzed, desinterested spectator of human misery.

@lizazoon Actually, you're wrong there. Because of sin, we do not live in a perfect world, obviously. However, being a loving God, he gives us things every day. God has given us all the resources we need to cure world hunger, sickness, etc., and He leads people to find them, such as using people to invent vaccines and develop technology to cure world hunger. I agree with PppPlyr1. We demanded both good and evil knowledge, so we pay the price, but that doesn't mean that God left us in the dark.

It is based upon years of research and man`s determination to KNOW. There's also a website, called Evidence for God from Science if you want to see where we're coming from. I have even read "Scientists Confront Creationism" myself to get both sides' opinions, and I still see creationism as more logical.

I've just been given a gift. I was shown in a relatively short paragraph most of my negative comments made on the different sites. I'd like to apologise for they were not kind and I was not responding as a christian should. My choice of words were hurtful and made in haste and anger. Here's a hint everyone should take. Don't believe what the Pastor says, read it for yourself and make sure they aren't hiding anything for you as most of them do.. I used to go to a church that left most of the salvation message hidden, and i was told all about it at a BBQ and i was shocked to never been told. All i was told in the old church was to give my heart But the Lord died for souls not hearts.

If you can't speak in tongues you can't pray in the spirit, and he that worships me (me being God) must worship me in spirit and in truth. Rom 8:9 - if you have not the spirit you are none of his. Acts2:4 - they spoke in tongues as the spirit gave them utterance. Acts 10:44-48 - the gentiles get the spirit and are commanded to get baptized.

hmm... I personally haven't received the gift of speaking in tongues, but i am still Spirit-filled. Speaking in tongues is only one of many spiritual gifts. We all have at least one, but not all have the same gift. (Rom. 4:4-20, esp. v. 18)

This is my favorite song. Christian: the word "Holy" means "to be set apart." It is the same word for Saint (which means "holy one"). The Bible calls us "holy ones" because we have been consecrated to God. We have called to a life that is different (Romans 12:1-2). Beloved, continue not in sin and trangressions. Oh the mystery of sin! It is downright wicked and destructive and robs us of our joy in Him, yet we still do it! Be sanctified and washed Christian!
